Hillary Clinton's expression, right hand clasped over her mouth in astonishment, is largely responsible for making the above photo iconic--and, to at least one newspaper, sexually suggestive...

Turns out she was probably just coughing during that crucial moment captured by White House photographer Pete Souza. But nevertheless, the image still proved a bit too racy for at least one of the many newspapers that printed it.

That would be the Ultra-Orthodox Hasidic broadsheet Der Tzitung. The paper photoshopped Clinton, as well as the only other woman who could be seen in the room--Audrey Tomason, the national director of counterterrorism--out of the frame.

"Apparently the presence of a woman, any woman, being all womanly and sexy all over the United States' counterterrorism efforts was too much for the editors of Der Tzitung to handle," noted the prominent women's blog Jezebel.

Indeed, "The Hasidic newspaper will not intentionally include any images of women in the paper because it could be considered sexually suggestive," Rabbi Jason Miller explains in The Jewish Week.

Beyond that, Der Tzitung's editors apparently missed or blatantly ignored the guidelines stipulated on the official White House Flickr page, where the photo was released for use by news organizations: "The photograph may not be manipulated in any way."

Similarly, Yahoo! News apparently missed or blatantly ignored Adobe's insistence that the title of their trademarked software 'Photoshop' not be used as a common noun or as a verb (as it is in this article).

She worked in the CIA for over a decade before being appointed to her current position and she is an assistant, so she may not actually be in a decision making position. She may be one of the people who make the wheels go ‘round, so to speak.

As far as I can tell, that is the only photo of her available on the Internet.

They did it solely for publicity. Nothing more. No ‘religious’ reason.

If they had a problem with women in the picture, then simply don’t print the picture. What they did is a ‘lie’. There is nothing ‘holy’ or ‘tsadik’ about that.

It was just a cheap publicity stunt.

From what can be seen, Audrey Tomason apparently earned her undergraduate in 1999 and her graduate degree in 2003.
My feeling is that a few more years working in the trenches would help guide critical decisions that will impact Americans for years.
I'm not so sure I want a 33-year-old guiding the POTUS and it is certainly unnerving a sitting POTUS is heavily relying upon a 33-year-old for crucial decisions.
