I would love to hear some of the conversations we're having with India. Not the ones Obama is having -- those would not be serious discussions. But at some level, a US operative is talking to an Indian operative and asking, "What is India prepared to tolerate? Would you actively do? What do you expect from us? What would cross the line and be unacceptable?"
They are gaming this out, with the US and India on one side and Pakistan on the other. Ultimately they may decide that the status quo is what they have to live with, but you know they have having interesting discussions about possible alteratives.
