Bobby Jindal is a True Leader; a natural born leader. If he wasn’t so busy in LA, he’d be my first choice for President of the United States. I sure hope he is ......one day.

Lord this is embarrassing (my misspeak). They had green cards. But, as I learned in High School Govt., Natural Born meant two US citizen parents and a birth on US soil.

He looks like a good candidate, but there is that Citizen parents thing.
Barry has now set the precedent.

That’s what I’m thinking. Now I need another chaser of Apple-Cider Vinegar.

And there is a growing movement in America, led by, among others, Sen. David Vitter, R-La., to change those rules and restrict birthright citizenship. "My bill limits birthright citizenship to individuals born in the United States with at least one parent who is a legal citizen, a green card holder or an active member of the U.S. armed forces," said Vitter in introducing his legislation on the Senate floor last month. There it is. Vitter is wanting to change the laws instead of abiding by them. Sorry, Vitter, but Jindal was not, is not, and never will be a NBC by the laws set out by the founding fathers in the Constitution.

“They arrived Feb 1, 1971, and a bit over six months later, on June 10, 1971, Piyush Jindal was born at Woman’s Hospital in Baton Rouge, a natural-born U.S. citizen, who like every other child born in America, could, constitutionally, grow up to be president.”
The author is completely out of line here. Neither of his parents were American citizens.

I agree. The Founding Fathers drew their Natural Born vs plain ole citizen distinction from Vattel.

If half of Mexico comes across the border to have their anchor babies, Gov Jindal’s Natural-Born status is a non issue

I really liked Jindal but this is utterly disappointing that he thinks this gimmick will redefine what natural born means. That is just spitting on our constitution.
Jindal, you lost my respect today.
Natural born is and has always been someone who is born on US soil to two US citizens (who were citizens at the time of birth).
Mr. Jindal that does not include you. You are naturalized, an anchor baby. No way are anchor babies natural born citizens.
To: Squawk 8888
That would be great or just as Gov. of Louisiana.
