So another words it is so important for you to see the photos, that you don't give a damn how many of our troops are killed or wounded as a result.
I give a damn about every one of our Brave Servicemen. I had two Nephews serving in Afghanistan and Iraq. A family friend, a Port Authority Police Officer, was murdered on 9/11. Don't confuse my questioning of our supposed Leader's motives with not caring for our Troops or the safety of the American people.
Look, there is relative peace just days after the Laden death. Why rock the apple cart? What pressing need is there? Answer me.
Here is how I see your point of view and what I take from your position on this subject:
According to your logic, our sworn enemies will lay down their arms because they really don't believe the Semi-Muslim President of the United States when he admitted the Jihadists Holy Leader OBL was shot in cold blood? Well, it did take a few days for that story to come out.
I don't have to surmise that our sworn enemies will do anything. From direct observation, there hasn't been even a small amount of negative reactions across the region. Some Middle-Eastern states actually issued statements that were positive. Imagine that. Positve. Why would you want us to push our luck? Saudi Arabia issued a congratulatory address that included the wish that radical players would back away from their evil deeds.
In your scenario, the Jihadist has one of our Brave Soldiers in his sights, and he is ready to squeeze the trigger when he thinks to himself, if only they showed the picture of our beloved Bin Laden I could kill this Infidel.
You're being obtuse to the point of absurdity. We have seen what other photos have resulted in. Now you want to totally ignore what happened in the past to try it again. "Perhaps we'll get lucky this time. Perhaps not. It's not my ass on the line." That seems to be your scenario. I don't think it even sounds good to you when I play it back.
The terrorists have munitions. They have the people to deliver them. All it takes is a situation where they think it's called for. We can present a quiet strength and let this period pass, or we can release the pictures, up the anti, and risk setting the terrorists off.
You don't agree with my points, so be it. I am questioning the logic of your opinion as you are obviously questioning mine but I assure you that I am not playing a game.
I have fully explained what my logic trail is. I have given you examples from the past that leads me to take the stance I have.
You don't have to play along with my responses. I asked you a direct question and you chose not to answer it. That is fine with me.
Over the past few days we have all been exposed to lies and deceit from Obama and his minions. They have caved and let the enemies determine that the American people cannot be privy to the evidence of what our Leaders are telling us. I'm curious when the story changes ten times, aren't you?
Yes I am curious. I'm just not curious enough to take a chance on putting our men in harms way.
I'm not here to piss people off. I'm here to discuss this topic, which has turned into the biggest scam, blunder, cesspool, you name it, that these Obama loving bastards in the White House have foisted upon this country (so far).
Couldn't agree more, but do we put our men in harms way to correct the Obama B.S. or do we put pressure on him in different ways? You know, the guy could provide DNA evidence. You and I don't trust Obama any farther than we can toss his sorry ass, but I do trust our military and they have done the deed. Laden's relatives agree. The military in Pakistan agrees. The government of Pakistan agrees. Saudi Arabia agrees. Middle-Eastern nations agree. The leaders of Al Qaeda have agreed. Tell me who that leaves out, other than a few Middle-Eastern wing-nuts.
You have your position and I have mine. Our Country is showing weakness, and weakness only emboldens our enemies.
We have troops in Iraq, Afghanistan, and Pakistan. We are attacking terrorists where they are in each of these countries. We just took out the top Al Qaeda leader inside a nation without permission.
How in the Sam Hell does that telegraph weakness to you?
Good night.
I'm not angry with you, so don't take this personally. I'm just arguing a point with you. Take care.

(Tell me you haven't asked yourself what mistake Obama made, that wound up causing Laden's death?)

Your points are taken. We will agree to disagree. Just a few thoughts before I go.
Many Posters here have come up with reasons that we haven't seen much push back from Al Queda and others, but time will tell.
I still feel this Administration is making this an issue by changing the story and withholding information from the American people. It is unnecessary, and I think we both agree on that point.
We have gruesome pictures of three dead bastards, one of which is probably OBL'S Son, but they have not sparked the violence you think would happen. Why is that? Conjecture is all we have at this point.
Some nutcase Jihadist might be steaming over the fact that the Seals had a Dog with them inside their Holy Leader's house. That could be enough to set them off. Who knows, they are all nuts anyway.
There is more to this story and Obama’s attitude is making things worse. Transparency is a ghost to this Administration and this is only one small part.
Anyway, I appreciate the time you invested explaining your opinion. Many here just tell other posters to go fly a kite.
