I like Herman Cain’s position on immigration, but can we trust someone who used to be chairman of the Kansas City Federal Reserve, and who supported TARP in 2008?
He evidently kicked butt and didn’t take any prisoners at the debate. The FoxNews sample audience went for him about 80-90%, and only one person said they liked him before the event.
The praise by the attendees was superlative from a number of angles.
From what I saw of his instincts, the guy seems to get it fairly well. I didn’t sit through the whole thing, and I need to go back and watch it.
I have seen him in an interview or two, and he has done a good job.
I’m willing to listen to Federal Reserve and TARP complaints. Perhaps he had a better angle on it than I did. I thought the TARP was necessary at the time and have since realized it probably wasn’t.
The continued massive flow of funds needs to stop, and I think this guy can probably understand that better than most.
He’ll have to answer a lot more question before I come down favorably, but I’m glad to see him represent himself well tonight so he can remain viable until we know him better.
Didn’t watch, but if both you guys like him, that is a positive for him.
