THE OBAMA SUNDAY SPEECH

To start off this new thread, it has been brought to my attention that FReeper, Dengar1, has spotted "suspicious" and unusual muslim activity in his suburban Chicago neighborhood and reports that this activity is happening in another nearby community as well.

Dengar1 has been a FReeper in good standing for over ten years, so when he says something, you can probably take it to the bank.

In the wake of what is claimed to be the death of osama bin laden, the likelihood of more terrorism around the world has inceased dramatically, The indications I have been seeing and hearing about are that the muslim groups, big and small, have increased their focus on the United States even more dramatically.

There have been general threats issued and that was to be expected. But if the unsettled chatter on the jihad boards is any indication, there is widespread shock and a lot of disbelief in the "official" story obama and members of his administration have released to the public, especially when the "facts" have changed substantially since obama's self-serving speech on Sunday night.

obama is using this as a political tool for his own ends as was very noticable in the stump speech he gave as a "formal announcement," and his subsequent plans to go to Ground Zero and hype himself even more, which I believe is an absolute disgrace from an American point of view.

His Sunday night announcement was delayed nearly an hour to give a flash mob of mostly local college students time to gather in front of the White House and was then broadcast worldwide. It was NOT a spontaneous demonstration of celebration. It was a cynical political ploy orchestrated by the administration and most of those who gathered there were young children on 9/11.

Nevertheless, political or not, these images went out over the airwaves, and while the occasion is indeed worth celebrating, there should have been a period of fact gathering and time for some somber and SOBER reflection before presenting the entire world with a set of unverified and erroneous "facts" coupled with what appeared to be a celebration of bin laden's death when in reality, it was a celebration of obama. The muslims worldwide do not know or care about the difference.

So WHY did he do it the way he did?

As is his wont, he has taken all he credit unto himself, patting himself on the back as if he had planned and executed this operation with no input or help from anybody....for US. THAT is what WE heard. Yet the story was not anything like his big announcment complete with flowery and altogether sickening prose, (which is reminiscent of any muslim pronouncement,) and in fact, is still changing as it becomes clear that most of the people in that compound were women and young children. There were no guards and no human shields as was initially claimed.

There was no major firefight, and indeed, we are now being told that no shots were fired at arriving Americans at all. bin laden's twelve year old daughter states that her father was already captured when he was shot. Whether that is true or not, the muslims will believe it.

WE have no proof that bin laden was even there and the "proof" they claim to have, they won't release for fear of offending muslim "sensibilities"? After broadcasting obama's speech worldwide? After the images of a "euphoric celebration" was broadcast at the same time? After not worrying about offending muslim "sensibilities" as long as obama was being covered on international television?

May I remind this POS that sits at the helm of OUR ship of state that the muslims did not give one good damn about OUR sensibilities when they filmed and released Daniel Pearl's beheading? Or Nick Berg's beheading. Or the bodies of American contractors being mutilated and burned and hung from a bridge in Iraq. And so many other atrocities too numerous to mention.

I WANT that image. I don't care how gruesome they say it is. And if they DON'T release it, the muslims who believe bin laden is dead will STILL seek vengeance, and those who DON'T believe it will feel even more passion to strike because the koran ORDERS them to if their heroes are lied about. Furthermore, obama KNOWS this full well, and the story he told on Sunday night was deliberately DESIGNED to enflame the muslims even more than it was designed to give US any satisfaction whatsoever. It was designed to advance the notion that bin laden AND his faithful wife died as martyred heroes... and that was a flat out lie. The entire premise for obama's speech Sunday night was for muslim ears and eyes, NOT ours. THAT is the muslim way...and obama KNOWS the muslim way.

So Dengar1's experience will be played out in many place across this country, not just in the suburbs of Chicago. If ANYONE on Free Republic has any similar experiene, or if you see somethingthat bothers you enough to set off your gut alarm, do not hesitate to call the FBI and your Local and State Police. Do NOT confuse yourself by second guessing yourself. Just DO it. If you are wrong, there is no harm done, but if you are RIGHT, you might wll save lives. PLEASE BE VIGILANT. I cannot possibly overstate the imminent danger this POS has put us in with the speech he broacast to the world on Sunday night. And now he goes to TARGET Ground Zero.

Can you imagine the impact on muslim "sensibilities" at seeing George Bush CELEBRATING bin laden's death at Ground zero? Do you think obama invited him because he feels so magnanimus towards Bush? OR Giuliani? Bush had the good sense to decline. I don't know if Giuliani will allow himself to be used in this way.

I reiterate. IF YOU SEE SOMETHING...ANYTHING, MAKE THE CALL! AMERICAN LIVES MAY DEPEND ON IT!

Truth is without confirmation of DNA by reliable sources all we have is their word that it was OBL and not one of a number of body doubles. Now if a Seal team member comes out and makes a statement that’s one thing. But any member of his regime means little to me.

Today, I want to approach the matter in such a pragmatic manner. I will try to put things into context, and be rational in my writing. I am going to suppress my emotions for 72 hours. I will, however, roar in delight if the news of killing Osama is true or the delight will flow over me if it is false. But now, nothing but the voice of reason should rise.

Indeed, in my opinion, the next seventy two hours are the most critical hours in the history of the Jihad struggle of Al-Qaeda against Zionists and Christian’s alliance. The way that Nato announced the killing of the hero of Islam, Osama bin Laden, supports my view.

It is a whole different way that was a contradiction in terms. The matter is nowhere near aimless.

Firstly, the US wanted to emphasise and give the news the greatest possible credibility. It has been announced by Obama himself, putting his position as a President for the US, and the reputation of all different US intelligence agencies as an official assurance to the veracity of the news. It is totally different from what we used to hear before in the US news and rumours against Al-Qaeda. Usually, the rumours and the news were used to spread by unknown sources, or at best by a military commander.

So, the US wanted, this time, to insist on the news in a way that is not likely to leave any space for raising doubts. Anyone heard the news would wonder: Is it reasonable that Obama, by himself, would put his political career and the reputation of the US with its entire security agencies on the line if the news is proved to be false? And the immediate rational reply comes out; it is impossible! Then, the news would seem more certain and that is what the US wants to achieve.

Secondly, the US, much the same way, also wanted to cast doubts on the news, and make it full of holes that arouses the suspicion of everyone who suspected the credibility of the news. The US refused to provide any evidence for anyone who watches and hears that Osama has been killed. On the contrary, the US did and said a lot that is meant to cast doubts on the news that it has wanted to be emphasised by its highest official!

The US stated that no one from their side has got hurt in the clash, in the knowledge that the witnesses have seen and even filmed and made it available on the internet opposite information that refutes these claims.

The US also said that the DNA tests proved that the killed person is Osama, while they are aware that these tests take at least three days. They, however, announced the results in a few hours. The only case that the test takes an hour or hours is that when there is a previous sample from the same certain person, that is Sheikh Osama himself, not one of his relatives. I do not think that the US has a previous sample for the Sheikh which has already been tested!

The US said that they have the body while they have refused to publish any pictures. The picture that has been published by the Pakistani channel and some websites is an old picture that everyone, including the US, knows it is a fabricated one. So, why they have refused to publish pictures that would have been an irrefutable evidence for the US report? Instead of welcoming the circulation of fabricated pictures.

The US also stated that they get rid of the body by throwing it into the sea, despite the fact that they know that this action would cause vehement furore in the lines of Muslim laymen!! However, they did so to leave no chance for any side who might ask to receive the body or publish its pictures!

So, the US surely meant to insist on the news through an announcement from its highest official. At the same time, they wanted to raise grave doubts on its news, and create considerable confusion, which is the thing that they have succeeded in achieving it so far.

There are only three probabilities, the greater likelihood that I personally support will be written at the end of the article. I will, however, leave for the reader to make his own judgement far from the emotional impacts to come out with a conclusion that is in accord with the logic.

Firstly, the US, as I have already said, does not intend to cast doubts on the news. In fact, it cannot provide us tangible evidence on the veracity of news. This is, however, a lower likelihood. It indicates that the US is making up fatuous story that is likely to be proved wrong within days by a few words from Osama. That would be an acute embarrassment for the US unlike all previous times. This time, it is Obama by himself who did the announcement. It is the political career of Obama which is likely to fall down. Additionally, it will be a false statement that will knock the bottom out of the entire US administration and its agencies.

Secondly, the US is fully aware that Sheikh Osama would not come out to disprove its claims. That would be, however, the case if only he is captured, my Allah forbidden it. This is also a weak likelihood. We know that all Mujahedeen leaders do not leave their belts behind, and anyone among the Mujahedeen prefers to die thousands of times than getting captured. That is what they long for it.

The third likelihood is that the US is taking a serious risk to officially announce, at its highest level, this news; and at the same time, to cast questionable doubts on the correctness of the news. The US might have killed Osama, but not willing to provide evidence just to create confusion; or perhaps, it is an outright lie and the US does not care about the credibility of the news. It may also want to spread the rumours and lies so as to prevent a risk that is much higher than losing both its credibility and the future of its president.

Perhaps, the US agencies have received certain information on a major operation that may target it and its interests; or maybe they have found out that the timing of the operation is within seventy two hours, the time that also takes the release of a statement from the Mujahedeen to confirm or confound the claims of the death of the Sheikh. Then it wanted, by creating this considerable confusion, to frustrate the plan of the attack. The major attacks are closely linked to Sheikh Osama personally, and with current malicious rumours that spread the news of the death of the Sheikh and doubts on the report at the same time, makes the operatives to defer the operation and try to get in contact to make sure of the information and also take new instructions.

Perhaps, the US has carried out some intelligence penetrations on the communications of the Mujahedeen, and intended to find out the list of the attackers in this way. It is the goal that if they achieve, anything else including their credibility would not matter. They may then brag that it was an invented plan. Their success on uncovering the plan would make others overlook their lie to the world. Moreover, they may become champions in the eyes of their silly people.

I do not see a forth likelihood for this ironic US story.

Therefore, I see that any group from the Mujahedeen that is supposed to execute an operation should move on to the implementation without delay and to totally avoid getting in contact to make sure and take new instructions. The order has been issued. Using your personal qualities in some of the details is much better than delaying the operation and waiting for new input.

The mujahedeen and their supporters should also avoid falling in the wilderness of indecision. Moreover, they should not contribute in creating the chaos. Everyone should proceed to their Jihad, whether it is sword or the pen one, like if nothing has happened. We are experiencing 72 hours of the most critical moments for the Jihad of the nation. Suspension, hesitation and stillness to wait for new updates will not help, and change what has already happened. It is, however, a retreat. Let us move on as the orders. The truth would be revealed within 72 hours, considered the most critical hours in the fight between the nation and Zionists and Christians’ alliance.

Let us step up with Allah’s blessing. Do not anyone discontinue doing what they have pledged to Allah, and abandon their loyalty to their Ameer and commander.

Agree with pretty much everything Candor said except that bin laden is still alive.
obama is also seeing to it that pakistan falls to the hardliners. This has been a clumsy, heavy-handed, deliberate attempt to topple what is left, if anything, of any pro-western sentiment in pakistan.
Someone has made the decision to allow the drug routes to revert back into the hands of iran and its surrogates as it used to be.
I am wondering if a deal has been struck with the mullahs to replace ahmadinejad wth a more “reasonable” face that won’t “scare” the west so much.

Egypt is running out of food, and, more gradually, running out of money with which to buy it. The most populous country in the Arab world shows all the symptoms of national bankruptcy - the kind that produced hyperinflation in several Latin American countries during the 1970s and 1980s - with a deadly difference: Egypt imports half its wheat, and the collapse of its external credit means starvation.

The civil violence we have seen over the past few days foreshadows far worse to come.

The Arab uprisings began against a background of food insecurity, as rising demand from Asia priced the Arab poor out of the grain market (Food and failed Arab states, Asia Times Online February 2, 2011). The chaotic political response, though, threatens to disrupt food supplies in the relative near term. Street violence will become the norm rather than the exception in Egyptian politics. All the discussion about Egypt’s future political model and its prospective relations with Israel will be overshadowed by the country’s inability to feed itself.

Egypt’s political problems - violence against Coptic Christians, the resurgence of Islamism, and saber-rattling at Israel, for example - are not symptoms of economic failure. They have a life of their own. But even Islamists have to eat, and whatever political scenarios that the radical wing of Egyptian politic might envision will be aborted by hunger.

The Ministry of Solidarity and Social Justice is already forming “revolutionary committees” to mete out street justice to bakeries, propane dealers and street vendors who “charge more than the price prescribed by law”, the Federation of Egyptian Radio and Television reported on May 3.

We were discussing some things at length yesterday...off site...and it is my humble opinion that we are seeing deliberate food shortages and it will get much worse. It’s like some monster watched all of the “Omen” movies and decided to follow the script. He who controls the food supply controls the world. You cannot eat your gold nor your oil nor your money, and money cannot buy you food if there isn’t any...or if it is stored in corporate or government warehouses...or if your seeds only yield one harvest.
The world seems not to notice that it is being slowly starved to death. We WILL have masters, and our obedience is the price we pay NOT to starve.
Man has forgotten how to sustain himself with his hands and his labor.
Maybe “forgotten” is not the right word. We have been untaught.
