Will there be a big reveal? The nation’s news organizations are dithering over whether to publish or broadcast images of Osama bin Laden after he was shot, when the White House inevitably releases them. Are the photos “newsworthy” the press asks, or too “grisly” for the American public? Will the images spark a retaliation from al Qaeda or offer definitive proof that the terrorist leader is dead?

No more grisly than the sight of two passenger planes crashing into skyscrapers and the buildings falling and killing nearly three thousand innocent men, women and children.
Of course this is video the MSM rarely shows for the same reason they don’t want to show pictures of OBL. It will inflame the Arab street. Please.
Hmmmmmm. Of course I trust the judgment of the NYT and Wash Post above all else, including God! But let’s think about this. Photo of innocent American after falling 104 floors to their death vs. photo of muslim slug who killed them after his execution???? Hmmmmmmmmm.
My only concern about the photos is why the hell didn’t they think about this beforehand. Other than that I think its a distraction from the fact that they can’t get their story straight on the raid.
Remember when the media refused to show jumpers on 9/11 out of sensitivity to muslims?
Why are we worried about offending people who trade beheading videos in their bazaars?
No more gruesome than the video’s showing thugs cutting off the heads of Daniel Pearl, Berg or that innocent trucker.

...and how about the many photos of the dead who chose to jump from the towers when they were unable to be rescued. Photos too gruesome for the American people. NOT!

Something went down REAL bad and now the SOB’s at the WH are trying REAL hard to cover it up. You can tell by the freaky story confused reports coming from the president and his alinsky pals there. AND where are the freakin pictures? Something stinks here. This group of socialist punks are either holding out on the pics so when the economy tanks they’ll distract from the problem. IT worked for bubba and will again for ZERO. IT’S JUST that SOMETHING DOESN’T JIVE RIGHT...God bless our wonderful brave military hero’s who are being used by this godless administration for their benefit of pulling the wool over the American folk eyes.
Remember in the initial stories that Obama made the risky decision to put troops in harm’s way because they wanted proof? Not just a burned out building. And now they won’t show it and claim they dumped the body in the sea?
My true hope is that Osama was worked on for 48 or more hours and any forthcoming pics are from Gitmo and the ocean in question the Caribbean.
Are the photos “newsworthy”,boy next the pres will ask are “words” newsworthy.

I can’t believe they’re still trying to decide. I have to believe this has already been “war gamed” for when/if we ever got the guy.
Considering the repeated media reports of “administration” officials’ dronings about how gory, shocking and inflammatory the pics are, they’re already signaling that we the children must be shielded from such images.
Our weak, mushy minds obviously can’t comprehend the magnitude of the situation. We must trust Master. Master protects us.

I think they’ve already said too much. He had a weapon. He did not have a weapon. We would have let him surrender. He resisted. He reisted without a weapon. Human shield. No human shield. Amateur hour from the communications team.
Why not just say we assaulted the compound, there was a firefight, and OBL is shot dead in the head. Body buried at sea. We got him. No more details. He’s dead, Jim. We’re telling the truth, and we don’t care who believes it. Then stick with it.
