No, arabic numerals are different than ours. We use Hindu-Arabic numerals.

I came across those numbers when I visited Jordan in 1996. The one that threw me was their 6 which looked very sevenish to me.

I actually agree with you for a change ;) So many people don’t realize that the ‘Arabic’ numerals were actually stolen and renamed ‘Arabic’ so they could claim credit ;)
