Oh .. how I remember that chilling story.
I remember it too. It wasn't just reported by one kid but by several and the fct that so many just happened to have brought cameras to school that day. Mindboggling that everyone swept it and the other incidents under the rug. Are they just too scared for themselves and their families or what?
We had a Pakistani girl working in our office, who never took a day off or called in sick.
She took the day off on 9/11. Her father was a “higher up” in Pakistan politics, they were a well off family.
After 9/11 and Osama’s name came out, this BI^&CH would defend him, saying he would never do something like that.
After that it occurred to me she had requested that day off. To this day I believe her and her family wanted “front row seats” to watch it all happen.
She was involved w/ a married man in Paki and wanted to marry him (and did not like America) and wanted to go back. However, because she was unmarried, her family said she couldn’t go back. So her lover asked his 1st wife if he could marry her.
The 1st wife said no. She allowed herself to be “arranged” into a marriage (you should have seen her wedding photos...the most miserable bride you have ever seen). In Paki, as I stated, she was well off, with servants and all those trimmings.
Here, she was just a “commoner”. They had to separate us...well me, from her after 9/11 because I was so pissed she was STILL defending Osama after 9/11.
Hate to be so mean, but I’m glad she’s now a miserable sack.
