If this ends up being an opus I’m fine with that. I took time to think about it. I think what I said is true.
When you can’t believe a word out of this administration it is hard to suspend disbelief. I mean an instant DNA test, no pictures, and a quick sea jettison? These people are control freaks.
I, for one, was excited and pleased by his death. I give credit to the current administration for taking him out - although the prior administration must get a great deal of credit as well. So please don’t be too disheartened by some freepers who are unable to see a good thing or believe in conspiracy theories because they hate the current president.
Maybe we are of like mind because I, too, lost acquiantances on 9/11 and watched the sky turn black and had to close all the windows because of the stench of burning building material.
i agree with you.
taking all the information that was given to us. and the pictures that i saw. (for example, what appears to be an us chopper that was blown up by us in the compound). we know the name of the ship where the ‘burial’ took place. which would not be hard to find someone here who know of someone from that ship.
I can conclude that pretty much that some raid did take place. and the president took a MAJOR risk to go with this. he could’ve just use a drone to take out the building for an easy way out, to avoid a carter outcome.
would people be satisfy with just a drone strike that flatten the building? or risk the lives of the seal team for a big pay off on al-q intelligence and possibility of bin laden. i don’t know what i would do.
I agree with you. Some of the threads/posts were very disturbing. Insane, actually. And totally out of character for this site. There has been a change in the overall types of folks attracted to FR in the past couple of years.
Back in the mid- to late-70s I worked at One Penn Plaza, so the WTC and Lady Liberty was the view from my office. The scenes on tv for the weeks following 9/.11, looking downtown, was what I looked at every work day. Well, except those 2 huge buildings were there. I can’t imagine if I’d been there in person on 9/11.
And I can’t imagine how folks can hate our current sitting POTUS so much that they’d rather attack him (as if there isn’t plenty of time for that) than celebrate a major American victory in the ‘war on terror,’ the amazing work of our military and intel community, and the capture/killing of the symbol of the worst attack on US soil in our history. Sad day, indeed.
