Look, I just can't find a plausible explanation of how this kind of hoax could be pulled off. Seems much more likely that the hard work of our heroes interrogating detainees, gathering intelligence, and going in and taking the guy down simply succeeded.
The fact that Obama, who was on balance was unhelpful to such efforts before he was President happened to be in office at the time, and made a sickening attempt to grab more credit for Bin Laden's death than he deserved is besides the point. I agree about the American Soldier, there is a long line of Army, Navy and Marines in the family all the back to pre-revolutionary days. It’s just that things that have been harped on about Caligula that he has not done are all of a sudden being done - I don’t trust the man. All of a sudden he is giving the populace exactly what they want.
