Geraldo just announced Obama will make some sort of statement in 30 minutes. Geraldo says this is unusually late and figures it has something to do with Libya.
I heard all reporters were contacted with “Time to go to work” notifications at most news stations.
Most of them don’t even know who Osama is or care.
They are cheering the muzzie in the White House- as directed.

If it were an ordinary midterm I would be more inclined to agree with you. But the 2010 midterm was revolutionary in scope, and the same forces that energized the midterm crowd will be still present and activating an even larger crowd in 2012. You watch. This is not business as usual. There’s no such thing as the monolithic “masses.” There’s our friends and family, our neighbors and our coworkers. And many of those “programmed” by the left in college are coming out of their trance and seeing a true failure of the socialist model. Objectively, conservative (or in some cases quasi-conservative) media s finding an expanding market and liberal media is trying desperately to hang on to a vanishing market. That has a quantitative meaning for the electoral process, and Obama knows it. I halfway believe he timed this deal with OBL to help him pull up his deeply sagging numbers. But conservatism is becoming a megatrend that old school socialist retreads will not be able to overcome. They’ve arrived too late to the party.
As for your examples, Nixon did happen during the heyday of MSM supremacy. I know, because my dad and I watched the whole thing unfold on the evening news and it was entirely different than it is today. There was absolutely no competition. Reagan was one of the first I can recall who began to succeed at doing end runs on the MSM. Nowadays we have so much more at our disposal there is just no excuse for us if we don’t pull this off. Based on the six degrees of separation principle, we can reach everybody.
And the people we are reaching are not brain dead. Set in their ways, yes, but not a monolithic mass. They are a vast collection if unique individuals who come within the scope of our influence. And many are already on our side, but are convinced they are all alone in their convictions. Often I start a conversation with one of these poor souls and sure enough, they are on the same page as we are, even right here in liberal Illinois. They only need to know they are not alone. They need to hear someone say we can do this. What you believe to be impossible you will never treat as possible, and so you will never do it. This coming election is too important for us to lose by defeatism. Losing is not an option, and I for one have no intention of letting Baghdad Bob talk me out of giving it my all.
