Obama’s still the President. We don’t necessarily like the job he’s doing, however.
Why the qualifier? I don't like anything he has done, period!
Me too and I want the media exposed for the scum they are. For over 50 years they have been doing all they can to destroy MY country. They should report the news, not control the message.
Absolutely. If it were Bush, Rove would have had him hit back loudly and aggressively about making a deal for an orange and calling it off when dems show up with an apple instead. People aren't stupid, they can grasp this concept.
human nature rules apply, unfortunately, we could become that which we loathe.
“Don’t spit in the well, you may have to drink the water.”
IIRC, Rove consistently let the press and the Dems hammer Bush on issue after issue with a fetid or no response.
Been thinking the exact same thing.
Bush stole Florida in 2000, and he stole Ohio in 2004, and Diebold machines were the weapon. They believe this tripe to this very day, and if they really wanted a legitimate POTUS, you’d never pick the likes of Obaaaaaaaaahma.
Actually, ALL the post election canvasses showed that Gore would NOT have won. Typically, when you recount in a jurisdiction, you will pick up a few votes. If that jurisdiction is 70% Democrat, the "findings" will lean Democrat by 70%. If you can ignore the GOP "findings" by not doing recounts in their areas, you can overturn a close election.
It's like a pizza-making shop: Two tables, one making pepperoni pizzas and one making pizzas with sausage chunks:
Are there more sausage chunks or pepperoni slices in the place? You could add up all the pepperoni vs sausage chunks that are on the pizzas and find there are 600 pepperoni slices but 603 sausage chunks. But if you went and swept up the floor around onlyaround the pepperoni table, you might find 10 extra pepperoni slices but only two sausage chunks. So now there are 610 pizza slices and 605 sausage chunks in the count.
This was Gore's strategy in recounting Democrat-heavy precincts only. Devilish.
Absolutely, because the attacks were inept and usually had no basis (at least thru 2006), and thus addressing them would only legitimize. If there was an substantial issue like the one that sank the Kerry campaign, I'm confident there would have been a concise and timely response. But both campaigns (2000 and 2004) stayed firmly on offense from what I recall, so maybe I'm seeing what wasn't there.
It is really another a fair fight to have Krauthammer on the same panel as Totenberg. Krauthammer has Totenberg by at least 50 IQ points

Not true.
The media sponsored three separate recounts of the entire state. Bush won all three of them.
Gore would not have WON under any recount. Several newspapers did a full recount. You seem to be buying into the “Bush stole the election” nonsense. This was not the case.
The overseas ballots still haven't been counted yet. Gore was never close enough anywhere to steal it.
[If he had done the fair thing and had all the counties recounted he would have won. ]
This is incorrect. Media outlets did recounts and Gore still LOST FL. If I recall correctly, he lost by even more votes than the record shows. Of course, the media has buried this.
agreed.
