I find it hard to believe that in 1961 a woman could give birth in HI and a couple of weeks later be in Washington state with the baby.

WMD originally claimed this timing but in fact she didn't have to be in Washington until classes started at the end of the following month.

From what I understand, she had to find herself a place to live and register for classes. Apparently records and witnesses indicate she was in Washington state 2-3 weeks after Zippo’s birth.
