Expert: No Doubt Obama's Birth Certificate Is Legit

It didn’t take long for some of President Obama’s doubters to claim the long-awaited birth certificate posted online by the White House on Wednesday had been altered or might be a fake.

But a leading software expert says there’s no doubt about its authenticity, and he dismisses claims of fraud as flat-out wrong.

The doubters have latched onto the idea that Adobe Illustrator — the premier program for computer graphic artists — “reveals” evidence of document manipulation in the Obama birth certificate. They note Illustrator reveals nine separate layers of the document, and claim it’s “proof” the file has been altered.

But that’s not so, says Jean-Claude Tremblay, a leading software trainer and Adobe-certified expert, who has years of experience working with and teaching Adobe Illustrator.

“You should not be so suspicious about this,” Tremblay told FoxNews.com, dismissing the allegations.

He said the layers cited by doubters are evidence of the use of common, off-the-shelf scanning software — not evidence of a forgery. “I have seen a lot of illustrator documents that come from photos and contain those kind of clippings—and it looks exactly like this,” he said.

Tremblay explained that the scanner optical character recognition (OCR) software attempts to translate characters or words in a photograph into text. He said the layers cited by the doubters shows that software at work – and nothing more.

Note that the last digit was scanned at a different resolution and contrast than the bulk of the document.

If the gang at Langley can't do better than that its no wonder that the intel we get is so damned poor. What a bunch of amateurs.

But I really find it hard to believe that the Richard Lee that signed the one document is the same person that signed the “U.K.C. Lee” in the Obama document.

Although I did see someone post above another birth document from another person that had the same signature as used on Obama’s. So that seems to make the point moot.

You had to have tabs set for the center of the fields, count the number of characters, then backspace half that number.

Did you notice how the twins BCs were aligned on the far left, in comparison to 0bama's being indented? Just way too many differences there for supposedly being done on the same day in the same hospital (and two different registrars).

A Certificate of Live Birth, the document we got Wednesday, is a true copy of the original. One stamp, used on both.

Your point acknowledged and well taken here. I presume if someone gained a copy of the original long form, that stamp would state "TRUE COPY OR ABSTRACT".

I would still stay with the view that a rubber stamp signature and a statement, does not tell us that the Doctor himself actually stamped the document.

Agree. The only way I'd believe they were one and the same is if it were known that Dr. Lee had a severe drinking problem at the time.

Have you noticed yet that the Nordyke COLB’s were signed by the Deputy Registrar?? So of course the registrar signatures are two different people.

This questionable document will do nothing to stop the downward slide of public opinion and obama. His polling numbers will continue to falter. His fraud is uncovered... the lights came on and the roaches were not fast enough.

I was kind of thinking about this yesterday. The document we see for Obama and the Nordyke twins are not the documents that the Hospital would generate - at least I don’t think they are. The reason I say this is that the Hospital generates a true Birth certificate that includes weight, footprint, and other vital info which is not part of these documents. But none-the-less, these documents are signed by the mother and doctor. So they could be done by the hospital or maybe another, more administrative body? I don’t really know exactly how this worked in 1961 but there does seem to be quite a delay between the birth (Aug. 4) and the mother’s signature (Aug. 7). This is true in the case of Obama and the Nordyke babies.

Not really OCR. It's from either "export" or "save as " PDF. If it was OCR the text in the certificate could be editable. Clearly not desirable in a document of this nature.

But more on point, it's tough to recreate if you don't know what software/hardware combo produced it the first time. I've tried.

I probably owe an apology here.

Its not just the tabs, its the mis-aligned X,s; its the curved left hand side (not done on modern certified copies but was done in the mid-sixties as shown in the Nordyke twins certified copies - created in 1966!), its the 3 different commas; its the miscolored text...and on and on.

I spent a lot of time looking at things before declaring the 2008 COLB to be a complete fraud. That amount of time was not needed here.

Something is wrong with birth records. I have no idea what it is (and I do not subscribe to an actual Kenyan birth, but at this point - who knows!).

If this document and the 2008 COLB were clean real, actual documents would be held up to reporters in a WH briefing. Jess Henig and Joe Miller would be making 100s of thousands of dollars on the talk radio circuit.

Instead we get digital POS images; Joe Miller works for the government and Jess Henig seems to be in hiding. At least lets hope that is where she is.

The images are fake and the actions of the WH and Hawaii indicate it is fake.
