EDITORIAL: The Nobama Doctrine
The Washington Times ^ | April 27, 2011 | Editorial

Some dead dissidents are more important than others

President Obama’s penchant to frame his actions in lofty terms places him in a position of having to explain why his moral compass is so selective. The contrasting U.S. policies toward Libya and Syria expose Mr. Obama’s moral conundrum.

Syrian dictator Bashar Assad’s regime is every bit as reprehensible as Moammar Gadhafi’s. The Syrian people are doing their best to make a bid for freedom, just as the Libyan people did. Mr. Assad has fought back with guns and tanks, killing hundreds, just like Col. Gadhafi. The Syrian people took hope from NATO’s intervention in Libya that maybe their cause would also merit foreign support. However, the United States refuses to offer the Syrian people anything more than a few nattering statements.

Mr. Obama has said there is no “Obama doctrine” at play in Libya. Defense Secretary Robert M. Gates said that conditions in each country must be judged on a case-by-case basis. It’s important to recall that Mr. Obama did not immediately seek United Nations authorization to intervene in Libya but only moved after the Arab League and Gulf Cooperation Council took the lead. These organizations are unlikely to call for intervention in Syria, so if Mr. Obama is waiting for their permission to take action, he - and the Syrian dissidents - will have a long wait.

I’d say you’re right and Obama is definitely a loser even though elected!

Obama doesn’t have a Doctrine or a moral compass or a clue.

He doesn’t know what he is going to do until Soros tells him what to do.

The Obama administration refuses to intervene in either Syria or Iran.

Both are enemies of the USA.

The Obama administration was anxious to intervene in Egypt. Egypt was an ally of the USA.

The Obama administration was dragged kicking and screaming into intervening in Libya. Libya's leader was a friend of the Obama regime -- but an enemy of the USA.

What are we to conclude from these policies?

Actually, it was otherwise, Daffy was a friend of USA and anti-AQ and Anti-MB.

That puts him against Muslim Brotherhood in WH and Foggy Bottom.

Daffy even advocated move out of UN from NYC to Vienna, something no American politician has guts to demand openly.

The man who authorized the bombs aboard Pan Am 103 and in La Belle does not qualify as a "friend of the USA".

IMHO, it’s clear nobama has no clue as to what he is doing/no doing. It’s there for all to see.

We need a strong, no hold barred national personality to do some major calling out on nobama. Now’s the time to do it. We need some serious switching to all out “take it to him.”

He needs to be blasted on a daily basis from now to Nov 2012.

Those in the know think otherwise:

Whatever you think of Gaddafi and Mussa Kussa... they were good and they were good counter-terrorism partners," Mr Hayden told the conference near Washington"

"Near Washington" was USMC base, Quantico, VA. "Mr. Hayden" is General Michael Hayden, former Director of NSA and CIA. He is no fool.

What we will do if the man who authorized the bombs aboard Pan Am was not Libyan? Check little closer who knew that something will happen on that flight.

People who were not warned were sent to slaughter deliberately. Just like people on KAL007.

The real perps were never charged nor prosecuted.

I think we are to conclude what was said by uhbama and his wife back on presidential campaign trail..remember hope and change thingie? She said on a stage somewhere that there would be a lot of people that did not like the changes that were going to be made.

She was right.

She just forgot to tell us that she and uhbama were going to surround themselves with people as mentally ill as they are and take America down the path to fully socialistic state.
