What makes you think hospitals keep birth records for 50 years? Even if they did keep such records (and they don't), Federal privacy laws prohibit them from disclosing such records, or even acknowledging that they exist.
Let me give you a piece of friendly advice: it's generally a good idea to verify claims made on blogs before believing them.
It does seem a tad peculiar.
Has anybody done a blow up of that box checked by the attendant below her signature? It looks from first glance as if something may have been checked in the “other” box in her signature, and then smudged over after with the MD check below- it’s hard to tell with the naked eye.

Oh and if it was a photocopy there'd be more gray on it. And the pattern on the green one would photocopy too. I've scanned and printed death certs on that kind of paper and they don't look like that. They are not white.
I’m not sure who is doing what but Hubby said someone examined it in Photoshop and it has “layers”.

Also, look at the bottom- they misspelled “the” on the “hereby certify...” part. And the type-pressure is much heavier on the “of txe” part of that phrase.

Because the governor doesn't specifically mention a birth certificate in the above story, and instead merely refers to Obama's birth record as something "written down," birthers read between the lines and conclude he couldn't find the BC but something else. Of course, that's stupid. Since a birth certificate is a written record, it is illogical to conclude the governor was referring to something other than a birth certificate when speaking of a record "written down." But then again, birthers were never any good a logic.
Later, some guy named Mike Evans, a celebrity gossip radio talkshow host (I refuse to call him a "journalist" in order to avoid insulting people like Brit Hume), claimed the governor told him he couldn't find the BC. Later, Evans retracted the statement, denying the governor ever talked to him. Birthers, naturally, believe Evan's original statement and don't believe the retraction.
Somehow birthers can't understand why a man who makes his living in celebrity gossip would lie in oder to gain attention.
Yup! What a bunch of amateurs!
Was “African” what Hawaiians usually put on 1961 birth certificates for a race?
Is the white around the letters a product of typewriter key impressions or what? Can’t be, now that I look at it again; the white is around the document’s print, too, not just around the typed characters. I take it that this is a photographed copy which shows the security background. No mention of his Indonesian adoption? This doesn’t appear to be all of the document, if changes in citizenship status are supposed to be noted. My 1959 birth certificate indicates weight and length, this one doesn’t or at least the part they’re showing doesn’t.

The issue of Obama’s birth certificate generated new interest in recent weeks following comments by Trump, among others. But Fukino said the original document was actually moved some time earlier, in response to a resurgence of interest raised by comments by made by Hawaii Gov. Neil Abercrombie on the issue, and “to abide by state law in protecting the document from unauthorized use or theft.”
Earlier this year, Gov. Abercrombie called off his much-publicized promise to reveal Obama’s birth records.
Hawaii state law dating back to 1949 precludes the disclosure of vital records, including birth certificates, to anyone without a justifiable interest—i.e. is the subject or relative of the record—and it remains unclear why Abercrombie would have vowed to disclosure the records in the first place.

Also her name is typed as “Stanley Ann Dunham” (indicating she was not married at the time, unlike what he has previously stated), but the supposed signature is signed with “Obama” as her last name.
So maybe POTUS held back releasing the BC because she wasn’t really married to Barack Senior.

I’ll have to take that last one back- the typed part asked for her maiden name.
Iam sorry I wasn;t clear. When I searched this days ago I found a wikipedia write up on the man Jack Maskell and he had ties to Obama.
