How come there is white inside the 8s and zeros? Shouldn’t it be the same color as the background?

I don’t think they would be so stupid as to release a bad, immediately detectable forgery. They must have been working on it for a long time.

It is an artifact of the scanning. It's a scan of a photocopy. Two generations away from real.

How come there are white halos around ALL the typed characters, which interrupt the background pattern?

In the 60’s I believe Race was listed as “color” or “Negro” on public forms. Just as white was Caucasian.

But African wasn’t a race and still isn’t a race. It’s a country.
