Congressman Allen West (R-FL) addressed a conservative women's group, Women Impacting Nation, last week and accused Planned Parenthood, Code Pink, and other liberal women's groups of "neutering American men," causing "weakness," implicating them in the growth of the United States debt.
Specifically, West said, "We need you to come in and lock shields, and strengthen up the men who are going to the fight for you. To let these other women know on the other side - these planned Parenthood women, the Code Pink women, and all of these women that have been neutering American men and bringing us to the point of this incredible weakness - to let them know that we are not going to have our men become subservient. That's what we need you to do. Because if you don't, then the debt will continue to grow...deficits will continue to grow?." (watch video)

I love Rep. West and would love for him to run for president. Unfortunately, he has repeatedly said he isn’t going to. Wish we had more men like him.

If these liberal women are so tough then why are they complaining about a “mean, nasty man” who disagrees with them? They should be able to take such criticism, like men.

As a female who grew up in the femi-Nazi movement...Hear! Hear! Alan West! As in all things liberal, I have never seen a more unhappy group of gritchers and whiners ever produced by a generation! They were not happy just being independent individuals with careers. And it was THEIR wants that took them outside the home to satisfy their ‘wanters’. Nobody forced them to do it. And if THEY did not consider themselves equal, it was their problemo, not the other gender’s. As far as I am concerned a father feeding a whole family as opposed to a female just satisfying her ‘wanter’, should be paid more! I know I will get some flack for that statement, but I will qualify it with one father feeding a whole family, leaves jobs open for other fathers to do the same. America needs strong well-tended families, not absentee parents and latch-key kids left to their own devices instead of engaged in positive productive activities supervised by the mother who should be living the example! We’ve produced a debacle in our society by giving children everything they want, except the interest of their parents. To keep up with the Jones’s, our children were just left hanging out instead of being guided in problem solving! Just allowed to make wrong choices that they couldn’t even comprehend and now as adults are paying for it, and the many never even understanding the concept of growing up, but locked in a childhood of wrong decisions. As evidenced also by so many boys that want to be girls and vice versa! Without those clear role models, they don’t even know what gender they are!
And to also qualify my statement, I work in the juvenile detention field. People have no clue how many of our children are locked up in such facilities both government and privately operated, supervised by pieces of rushed through regulations by legislators who haven’t a clue whether WHO or WHAT kind of minds are supervising them. Many whose staff don’t give a flip about some stranger’s troublesome children but sit in a chair and occupy it to get a paycheck because it is the only hiring entity in their area! There are hundreds and hundreds of such facilities in my state alone with 50-100 bed residences that it is impossible to supervise! And the many parents who haven’t a clue how to be parents!
By their actions these liberal dingbats smear themselves. Normal, mature, well adjusted folks can’t help but he somewhat vicariously embarrassed for them.
Have you seen the new blond highlights in West’s hair. Sadly, reminds me of x-42 Billy Clinton who deployed hair color for political purposes. Alain stay away from make-up please

You have a great perspective. It is often said that the only thing in your life you can control completely is yourself. You cannot control what others say or think.
Any woman (or man, for that matter) who has the mindset that their worth is decided externally by others is off on the wrong foot to begin with.
Your insight on the issues with family are spot on. Additionally, there is a nanny-statism that is even more pervasive and just as destructive, because it does not WANT you to think for yourself and make your own decisions.
It ties directly into your observations. Good post.
