Ron Paul said Monday that Donald Trump's pursuit of President Barack Obama's birth certificate shows how "desperate" he is for an audience.
Appearing on ABC's "The View," Paul jabbed Trump for having supposedly sent investigators to Hawaii to look into Obama's birth.
"I understand he has sent out some detectives to find out," Paul said on the show. "I haven't invested in any of that, so I guess I'll have to see what he does."

"The two potential presidential candidates have been a back and forth ever since Trump told Paul's adoring fans at CPAC earlier this year that the Texas congressman "cannot get elected."
I'm not one to stick up for Ron Paul, but this is kind of funny. Ron Paul has won elections and Trump has never won an election, yet Trump claims Paul cannot get elected? LOL!!

Absolutely. Pretty soon it will be a battle of the Paulillians vs. the Trumpites.
The Kuchinistas got the draw and will take on the winner.

I got gerrymandered into Paul’s district a couple of election cycles ago. One thing even Paul supporters have to admit is the guy is boring. Maybe a nice bedside manner but b o r i n g. Trump OTOH is a saleman/marketer. Put them together and you might have a winner, good ideas that get marketed. Separately, neither are going anywhere IMHO>

Ron Paul has won elections and Trump has never won an election, yet Trump claims Paul cannot get elected? LOL!! A trained monkey can get elected to Congress...see Sheila Jackson Lee or Dennis Kucinich if you doubt me.

Paul thinks he’s part of the ‘elite’ club now. ‘How dare’ someone outside of the ‘politicos’ dare to run for President. GO AWAY RON PAUL!
