Prepare to hold out for how long....6 mo’ths, a year, 2 years? I work the logic out as to how bad it could get with riots and perhaps chunks of our nation invaded and given to other foriegn powers. I don’t think Americans will be able to prepare enough for the gangs that will overpower even the most detirmined and armed survivalists to steal and kill. Then how to replenish what has been used up? You think the Amish will be able to hold out against the onslaught that the progressives would like to bring on this nation?
We need God and we need to make plans regarding the setting up of territorial strongholds should a drastic civil collapse occur in this nation. I can go right now and buy food and ammunition to last a year but who would also help me defend it? Isolationist preservationism isn’t enough...now several hundred thousand like minded families working together congregated in a state or territory might give us an edge thru the dark times but in the end it is going to take massive repentance before almighty God to save our land or at least good decent portions of the population. And I mean repentance to a point that we rediscover the judeo Christian mind set that brought our great nation into being!
As for bloodshed, I could see 50 to 75 million dead before some sanity is restored in this nation...perhaps one dead for every unjustly aborted soul or child who has been grossly sexually molested.
If we have a collapse (social as well as economic) of the proportions you anticipate, I see the formation of enclaves of armed and determined folks. Middle America is a lot more well armed than most realize. And there are of lot of us in that group.
A key variable here is the fascists in DC and their efforts to disarm us before the crunch arrives. If the general situation in this country is still relatively peaceful and they ban firearms, or stop production of ammunition, will the people actually promote and participate in genuine resistance?
I think the inclination of most people is to hope for the best and not actively resist until it is too late. At least that is the consistent historical pattern.

I understand what you are saying and have already thought of that.WE own land at the top of a hill,my BIL owns nearly 30 acres across the street from us.On either side are people we grew up with and about 1/2 mi down the hill is my FIL’s land.In between are people he has known for years and I’m sure that if something like a meltdown with roits come we can and will ban together to protect that hill and our animals and provisions.For how long I don’t know but we are in a rural area and it will take a while for the masses to arrive here.
I think you overestimate their chances.
Once hyperinflation hits and those 1st of the month checks are no longer are enough to pay for their HBO or the insurance on their Cadillac Escalades, they will 1st turn on each other and burn their own cities down.
Look at Katrina, they didn't threaten any of the out lying areas. When the SHTF they waited for the government and when the government didn't come soon enough, they didn't know what to do with themselves and they turned on each other.
Same will happen next time, except this time the government will never come and they will die waiting for Obama to come save them.
The only consolation is white Liberals will get what they deserve. And I wonder, when they are huddled all alone and the mob shows up outside, as they are dragged out into the street, will it finally dawn on them on what fools they have been?
