Donald Trump debuts in a first-place tie in Gallup's latest update of Republicans' preferences for the party's 2012 presidential nomination among potential contenders. Trump ties Mike Huckabee at 16%, with Mitt Romney close behind at 13%. Sarah Palin is the only other potential Republican candidate to earn double-digit support.

Just say no to HuckaTrumpaHairspray
When they call about these candidates, actually, you dont have many choices between candidates, that the MSM, is going to pick for the republicans.. if we cannot do better than this. I am afraid for the Republicans..
A big field of 13 potential candidates.
relaxed...these early polls are meaningless, people even Republican voters are not paying much attention to the presidential nominee race, Trump is up there because he has been all over the news and Romney and Huckleberry are there because of name recognition - they ran last time in 2008 against McCain
That is so funny, mnehring. I just saw (barf alert) Spitzer on CNN with **the big** Trump investigation.
Thanks, I can’t this song out of my head, “Why don’t you come to your senses? You been out ridin’ fences For so long now...”
Mike Huckabee, you low-level, BIG government, POS, progressive. You’re worse than pond scum.

When OJerko gets exposed, watch the new cockroaches come out of the dark.
Beck spent some time going after Huckabee today. Something of a pissing contest between the two of them.
Interesting to note that Huckabee in this poll got the biggest share of the conservative wing of the party versus all the other candidates according to Gallup. “Moderate/Liberal 13%” and “Conservative 18%”
If Allen West runs, that changes everything, IMHO.
Given a choice between Trump, Huckleberry and Romney, its a no-brainer - Trump.
Why would God want to save America? We've always been a friend and guardian of other nations, even the ones we conquered. (Trump calls this weakness, but it's not. A good and merciful nation is a great nation.) We've sent missionaries out all over the world. Traditiionally we've loved God, peace, justice, and goodness.
On the other hand, we've slaughtered over 50 million unborn babies, the slaughter of the innocents. We're only a few steps away from becoming Sodom and Gomorrah. Sexual perversity and pornography is rampant. We no longer seem to love God. Many want Him removed for our consciousness awareness.
How long? Maybe out time is up, I don't know. If so, I think Jesus will arrive soon for those that look for Him.
I see these polls, and I simply cannot see the basis for the support of Huckabee. Other than “make Christian noises”, what has the man actually done?? I know he released a bunch of crooks from the pen, one of whom murdered some cops.
yes that is what i feel also
In the FINAL analysis, ANY Republican is preferable by far, to the lying, socialist, racist, Muslim, foreign interloper ensconced in the Oval Office.
Not good news for Romney...which may explain why all the GOP Media and anti-Birthers have been running with every Liberal Media story trashing Trump the past week.
The GOP cannot beat Obama with Romney as its nominee...and/or attacking Birthers.
The Trump-trashing is bizarre. I can’t remember seeing all of these TV desk reporters (not the correct word) looking so befuddled and unable to handle an interview with him. Get a clue: Don’t use the call-in set-up with The Donald on the phone. He just merrily rambles right on over the top of you. The producers must be foaming at the mouth when they see his caller ID popping up. Their ratings spike and drop like Fannie Mae stock when he is on air.
The only Congressman elected as President was James Garfield, and he had been a Civil War General and reformer of Grant’s corruption for nearly twenty years. He had also been chosen to sit in the US Senate by his state legislature, if he was not elected President. I don’t think any Congressman has been elected as Vice President either.
Without the USA, the whole world will turn into something like the bad side of Detroit.
