Another log home floor plan we're looking at has a walkaround fireplace separating the great room from the dining room, and it's open on both sides. A third one has the fireplace open to both the living room
and the porch outside, so you can sit out there on cold, rainy, snowy days and be nice and warm. The beauty of some of these builders' plans are that the company will modify the plan you choose with your personal preferences (within reason), and some will even do it for free once you sign a contract and put at least a down payment on the shell package. Another thing we're adamant about is that the plans be slightly tweaked to allow for Jacuzzi tubs in both the master and guest bathrooms. My wife has bad knees, my mother has a bad back and hip, and I'm just getting generally rusty and creaky around the edges now, myself. LOL!

"But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come: for men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good, traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, having a form of godliness but denying its power. And from such people turn away, for his name is Obama."
