DONALD Trump's bid for the Republican presidential nomination took another step toward reality today, as the developer-turned-reality-star said he had made up his mind on whether to run.

The 64-year old hinted that he would be a candidate, saying he would have to wait to make any official pronouncements until after the Celebrity Apprentice finale airs on May 22.

"In my own mind, I think I've made a decision," Mr Trump told FOX News when asked when he would decide on entering the race.

Trump's cool comment about Rove, FTA:

Bush's successful 2000 and 2004 campaigns.

"Abraham Lincoln couldn't have beaten Obama or any other Democrat after what happened with Karl Rove," Mr Trump said.

Mr Bush ended his time in office with a 34 per cent approval rating, below his 88 per cent high after the September 11, 2001, terror attacks, according to FOX News-Opinion Dynamics surveys.

I like him as a sh*t-disturber, but the minute Sarah announces he better get the Hell out of the way.

2000 Bush should have won Florida by a much larger margin after the Elian Gonzalez raid. Rove The Genius struggled to beat liberal Al Gore in Florida...and Bush still had fewer overall individual votes nationwide

2004 Bush should have slaughtered Kerry, but it was much closer than any conservative could wish. Rove The Genious was saved by Jerome Corsi and the Swift Boat Vets...even though the Liberal RINO establishment attacked the Swift Boat Vets

Now, Rove The Genious thinks you can beat Obama by attacking real conservatives who want Obama Eligibility addressed. This time, Rove is working for Obama 2012.

Then we better get out there and encourage her to run because if she doesn’t Obama will get a second term.

Bush let 8 years of getting banged up by the liberal press and Dems and for most of that time without firing back. Bush thought it was beneath the president to engage in defending his presidency. You add in getting roped-in and punked for the huge “bank bailout” right before the 2008 election, it sank even more.

Sounds like he’s running then. He could win it. He was mentioning that he thought it would be harder to win the Republican nomination than win the Presidency. He’s also said he’d only run as an independent if polling was clear he’d win the election and not undercut support from the Republicans they’d need to beat the Democrat. We’ll see how this goes. If it gets to the point where he does indeed go independent, this could be the end of the Republican Party as a real force, because if that happens, and he does win, what’s the point of the Republicans? They’d have failed to back a winner, yet again, and they’d have failed to represent the principles they’d purported to, not that Trump really has.

Trump is just being his clever self. He won't run all the way. The media is panting at his feet lapping up any hint he makes that he will run. He may for a short while, but he will set the stage to get the momentum going against Obama and then back out.

He truly hates Obama like we all do.

I’d rather have 2 or 3 GOP hopefuls going into the primaries so we can see which side the MSM will be on.

If it’s Sarah from the get go in June..she’ll be worn out from the MSM attacks and we don’t need that.

That’s why let Trump, bachmann and Palin duke it out. The more targets the MSM have, there won’t be a single target they could zero in on.

I hope Donald Trump runs for POTUS. I do not agree with him on every item, but I believe our country needs a drastic change and neither the Democrat or Republicans have the guts and determination to effect it. IMHO i believe the Democrat Party will be severely diminished and Obama will be flushed into the toilet of obscurity he so richly deserves. Republicans will also be taken down, losing many weak sister dead beats of the RINO kind. Trump will be revolutionary. There will be no free lunch as we know it today. Every citizen and USA resident will pay taxes. A fair one rate tax will be applied to all and.... a national sales tax will insure a progressive scale from bottom to top. The Donald will rule with an iron fist in favor of our country and our people. the sea change is afoot right now. Too bad, these idiots in DC and the media have nary a clue. Dummies, its called management by walking around!!!

Trump has achieved everything a man could ever want...a young & pretty wife, devoted father of kids, multi Billion dollar net worth, fame, owning the finest golf courses in the world for his favorite pastime, show business celebrity status.

Only thing missing is the highest office in the land and legacy. He has to be wanting both at age 64.

He truly hates Obama like we all do.

He seems to, Whatever he does, I hope he keeps up hammering him until election day, he's doing a valuable service to the country.

It's hard to believe he's actually running, but stranger things have happened.

Another point to remember: In 2004 BOR and many of the Fox talking heads dissed the Swiftvets, just like they're dissing the Birthers now. The Swiftvets won the election for Bush in 2004. The Illegal fears the Birthers for the same reason the Traitor feared the Swiftvets: the Swiftvets told the truth and the Birthers tell it.

That’s the same thing Lincoln and the GOP did to the Whigs.

Every once in a while there’s a big change-up. If it’s not now, when do people expect it? Obviously we can’t go on like this. Tea parties are the only thing that saved Republicans. The question is, will Republicans co-opt the tea partiers, or will the tea partiers co-opt the Republicans? Unless the answer is the latter, that seems to me to be the end for the Republican Party, give or take a few years of limping onward.

I think you nailed it. And he hates Obama because that is a requirement if you love America — and as liberally flawed as Trump is on many issues, he does love America.

You’re right — why I’ve written many times on American Thinker about how over rated the “boy genius” is. Tying Gore and beating Kerry by 3 is really pathetic. Lee Atwater wins those two races by 10 and 25.

If Trump runs and wins, then turns into another Arnold Schwarzenegger or Michael Bloomberg, all you self-styled real conservatives will have no room to complain. It will be you — not the media or the Dems — who give him the nomination and WH. It is you who show your lack of seriousness about the country’s future when you consistently go for the cheap, glitzy, superficial fix instead of being in it for the long hard slog to reverse a century of Leftist incrementalism.

I agree.

I love Sarah Palin, I took my kids to hear her speak but I just do not think she has a chance against zero.

And Bachmann whom I also liked greatly, just got owned by Stephonopolus.

So I’m listening to Mr. Trump - because he fights. I’m tired of milquetoast candidates.
