Former New Mexico Governor Gary Johnson announced today that he's running for the 2012 Republican presidential nomination.
"I'm ready for a different America," Johnson said in a statement today. "I'm ready for the day when a person can build a good life on a decent income, and we can take our government at its word."
Johnson announced his candidacy Thursday morning on the steps of the New Hampshire State House and plans to spend three days in the early-nominating state meeting with supporters and visiting local businesses.
I'll hae to disagree with you. In my thinking -- what I want is someone who fight for lower TAXES, Tough on the BORDER, who wants to drill for oil here in the USA and who will let us be free.
I don't care if his social issues are (I'm pro-life myself), because in 2012 -- 0 will be running for re-election to ruin the USA!! I'm not going to let him WIN!!

No I’m not. What about the rights of the woman involved? You can’t honestly tell me that you’d demand a loved one to carry her rapists seed to full term and raise that child. Rape is an act of war. It’s a sign of conquering someone. it’s completely different from the act of 2 people being in love and “Whoops, we’re pregnant!”
This is the favorite candidate of Reason magazine, and he’s the cool Republican for the gay crowd over at the Atlantic. That should tell you everything you need to know. In layman’s terms he’s a liberal. The 10 percent that Ron Paul gets, is about the same as the 10 percent every reefer candidate gets in every election in the last 30 years.

If a Marxist wins a second term, it won't be because we followed the example of St. John the Baptist as "voice[s] crying in the wilderness". It will be because America as a whole decided that sometimes it's OK to kill innocent human beings, or at least that opposing the killing of innocent human beings is negotiable if there are other, more important things to worry about, like money.
(There. I stayed away from the word "child", since you clearly don't think that a fetus is a child.)
When will people wake up to the fact that preserving the right to live in freedom begins with preserving the right to simply live?!
