Skip ahead to 2:55 for the key bit. I think I know whats going on here, but its better that you watch and form your own judgment. The key exchange:
Stephanopoulos: Well I have the presidents certificate right here. Its certified, its got a certification number. Its got the registrar of the state signed. Its got a seal on it. And it says this copy serves as prima facie evidence of the fact of birth in any court proceeding.
Bachmann: Well, then that should settle it.
Stephanopoulos: So its over?
Bachmann: Thats what should settle it. I take the president at his word and I think again I would have no problem and apparently the president wouldnt either. Introduce that, were done. Move on.
Stephanopoulos: Well this has been introduced. So this story is over?
Bachmann: Well as long as someone introduces it I guess its over.

She’s through.
Bad, bad move, Michele. Well, at least I know I won’t be voting for YOU.

Bad, bad move, Michele. Well, at least I know I won’t be voting for YOU.
Its a sad, sad day in America when a US House Rep doesnt understand the fundamental issues surrounding Obamas (alleged) bc and eligibility, but a drugged-out, drunken Hollywood liberal does.
Charlie Sheen: I was born here - and I can prove it! Ive got a birth certificate, and it wasnt photoshopped!
Michele Bachmann: Thats what should settle it. I take the president at his word.... Introduce that, were done. Move on.
Stephanopoulos is a boot licking chump.
My apologies to everyone. Apparently, my “posting” button got stuck? Sorry ‘bout that!
So, if Stephanopolous has a copy of the birth certificate, how did he get it?? He’s certainly not a member of Obama’s immediate family. And if it’s a copy of a copy, how doe he know that it is legit.
Yeah, she should simply remain where she is at...not presidential material...sorry.
So exactly what is the constitutional proof required?
>>Bachmann: Well as long as someone introduces it I guess its over.
There were better ways to address the issue and save the base but this was damn disappointing. She pretty much pushed me towards Trump, but not that much.
It’s got to be a political calculation to accept the questionable circumstances on face value. I don’t understand why a skittish politician cannot simply say: “I have no idea, but it’s a curious situation.”
She's a nice gal. Hearts in the right place. Fighting for a good cause. But if you don't do your homework on an issue like this you are going to be slaughtered by the MSM. Most Freepers would have had a ready answer to the COLB question.
She should fire her staff for not preparing her and forget about running for President since she apparently isn't willing to study issues in enough depth to really understand them. The MSM doesn't make that mistake. They will lie and cheat and hide what they know but they do know the truth.
She didn't say anything about anything.
Not defending her as a candidate, but you and I and Donald Trump know that what Stephanopolous said is the situation isn't the situation. Michelle might well be able to debate the topic but she chose not to.
BTW, Stephanopolous is an enemy alien who wants to force your babies to smoke. Don't talk to him or about him. Cut his public notice off at the knees.
The chair of the Congressional Tea Party Caucus and woman with unquestionable conservative credentials was shown the birth certificate on a taped interview, on a mainstream media outlet and declared the issue to be over. Can we move on to bigger issues? The “birther” thing is leading many Americans to believe it’s proponents are nuts. More importantly, there is no way that the issue is going anywhere. Let’s get back to budget battles that will lead to retiring our national debt. The Dems have successfully used this issue as a way to distract....
Wasn’t there just a poll out of Iowa? that had the number of Republicans questioning it well over 60% or something? Seems to me that’s a touch higher than 1%.
I’m going with Trump only if he makes it to the end, and I certainly won’t be voting to help him there. But I figure by that point, he will deserve the conservative vote. Then again, my dog would too, against Obama that is.
It’s OK to take a liar’s word for fact - then at least you know it is a reliable lie.
