Congressional House Democrats would never go along with that and unemployment is too high for most Republicans to go for it now.
What she is missing is how to keep these people from being a net draw on the government =aid minus taxes: medicaid, public schools, food stamps, etc. I would make them prove they are in the group of people that are actually paying Federal income taxes (that 53%) , or boot them out. To be safe they should file W2 for >$70K of taxable income. You want them to make enough so income taxes bother them.

GOOD SOLUTION I would make them prove they are in the group of people that are actually paying Federal income taxes (that 53%), or boot them out. To be safe they should file W2 for >$70K of taxable income. You want them to make enough so income taxes bother them. =====================================================
ANOTHER SOLUTION We know they're pocketing bigtime----under multiple identities. And many are registered to vote.
One state's solution was to send out letters to those registered to vote, asking for proof of citizenship---those who did not respond got booted.
That's one of the things she missed. But even if they paid taxes, I think the courts would rule that they must have a "path to citizenship," and unfortunately, having money does not guarantee that they won't vote for leftists. Think about who Wall Street supported in 2008.
