Judge Jeanine: President obama this week said to abc if the republicans keep focusing on where he was born that it just makes it easier for him to get reelected. What are your thoughts on that? Bachmann: An interesting issue that has gone on for so long and one that the president could have solved early on. All he had to do is just answer some questions and show h his document and then have people say this is in fact a legal document and it is over and it is done. The president has neglected to focus on answering that question for people and that is why a lot of people still have it lingering in their mind. Nope of us can prove. Only the president and someone legally tasked with attest together validity of that document could do that and that is what the president should do. Judge Jeanine: It would certainly put an end to it.

Bachmann joins Trump and Palin by affirming that Obama has not shown his 1961 BC and declaring that it is Obama himself who is responsible for failing to resolve BC questions.
ping...
As I was saying to you on another thread, Trump has provided the air cover for the two non-establishment candidates again to question about Obama's lack of eligibility.
Ummm, Congress has the responsibility to conclude "qualified" in the constitutional sense, and if Congress thought location of birth was important, Congress would have asked. Bachmann is part of the group that gave a pass on dual citizenship as a disqualifier. As far as Bachmann is concerned, a person with mixed allegiance makes a fine candidate to represent US interests against the rest of the world.
All the Obama Supporters who have been attacking Trump over the issue....claiming his on the payroll of George Soros....now will be attacking Bachmann in 3...2...1
Speaker Pelosi deemed him “qualified” - not the Congress
If Congres “concluded” they can come and take your gun, you gonna let them?

It just gets better and better. Go.. group.. go!
It is beyond belief how many fellow ‘freepers’ display significantly more hatred towards Trump than Obama!
This issue is going to go one way or the other.
1. If those who believe that Obama is not a natural born citizen can find enough proof and be able to communicate that fact to the American people in a way that is easy for them to understand and cannot be denied by the MSM, it would heavily damage the Democrat brand for a generation.
2. If the issue is unable to get traction with the American people, amd/or the MSM can still provide cover for the issue, it could end up costing the Republicans votes, because it creates the impression that they are a single issue party and they are focused on an unsubstantiated rumour.
And your source for that bold assertion is what? Do try and marshal some actual reasoned logical narrative combining statements by the framers of the Constitution, the words of the Constitution and applicable significant court rulings and/or scholarly treatises older than the last 60 years, could you please? Not just some crumb or twig.
This isn't conspiracy theory stuff, it's plain COMMON SENSE. Nothing to hide Barry? Then SHOW US THE DAMN PIECE OF PAPER AND BE DONE WITH IT!!!!!

I saw that...LOL Obviously the rash of anti-Trump posts today were really pro-Obama posts to attack people asking for Obama to release his LF Birth Cert.
Unlike Palin, Bachmann never really dissed or naysayed the Obama Birther issue. Palin cam on board when Trump started to raise the issue
I don’t think so.
The 20th amendment to the US Constitution, in context with the constitutional provisions that describe the operation of the electoral college.
The constitution anticipates (accounts for the possibility) that a majority of electoral votes will be cast for an unqualified president elect. The constitution prescribes which person will assume the office, in case the president elect is not qualified; and then in case the VP elect is not qualified. Further down the chain, it leaves the succession question in the hands of Congress to determine as a matter of law.
