DONALD CHUMP AND HIS SPIN (Mark Levin)
Mark Levin's Facebook Page ^ | April 16, 2011 | Mark Levin

Posted on 04/16/2011 8:57:04 AM PDT by Virginia Ridgerunner

Look how Chump operates. Caught red-handed now with his vicious attacks on George Bush, who most conservatives had issues with, he now says but for Bush there would have likely been no Obama. That may well be true. I have been a harsh critic of Bush's spending, including in my book. But Chump was calling Bush EVIL and demanded his IMPEACHMENT because of the Iraq war and in the middle of that war. He said Bush lied to get us into Iraq. His comments were vile and outrageous, not unlike the America-hating leftists who sought to undermine are armed forces there. Now he wants us to believe that his criticism of Bush was because Bush's poor record set the stage for Obama? Chump attacked Bush over Iraq because if you were a big-mouth, attention-seeking liberal, it was the thing to do. He had no altruistic or principled conservative motive for doing so at the time and expressed none.

As recently as last year, while conservatives and Tea Party activists were organizing and rallying against Obama, Pelosi, Reid and their radical agenda, Chump was helping to fund some our opponents. He contributed to left-wing, Tea Party-hating menaces like Chuck Schumer, Anthony Weiner, and Harry Reid. What about his contributions to Charlie Crist, while Crist was running against Marco Rubio? Did he donate to any of the Tea Party candidates? Did he contribute to the Tea Party movement in any way, with time or money, before today? Why not?

Chump also praised Nancy Pelosi. He thought she was great. I played the audio. I guess he was just mistaken, again. He supported universal health care, but not any more, of course. He supported abortion and gay marriage, but that was then, this is now. He supported John Kerry for president in 2004, but that's because Bush was so evil. He leaned on government officials to use eminent domain against a little old lady whose home happened to be in the way of a parking lot he wanted to build for one of his casinos in Atlantic City, but he has always been for private property rights.

So now Chump rails against China and demands Obama's birth certificate and we are supposed to swoon over the man. But when asked about the Ryan budget, he turns stupid again -- he says Ryan should not take the lead on this, we need a bipartisan consensus to move forward? And with whom do we build this bipartisan consensus? Reid? Obama? Is Chump really this dumb, or is he, once again, trying to figure out which way the wind is blowing?

Chump is a phony and dissembling. He called a hastily organized press event this morning because I, and others, are on to him.

TRENDING: Trump lashes out at George W. Bush and Obama

Today he is speaking at a local Tea Party rally. And why? Because now he wants our support, not because he supports us or our principles, or ever did. Chump is about Chump. And he thinks we're too stupid to notice. Are we?

“It’s a lot better than bumping over potholes in the conservative media’s old ford pinto.”

Roster of other designated drivers of the clapped out Pinto:

1. The gang at National Review
2. Bill Bennett
3. Michael Medved
4. Hugh Hewitt
5. Ann Coulter
etc.

Too busy protecting their phony-baloney “conservative pundit” jobs.

I like how Trump is knocking down the myuth of Bambi as a great president.

I don't like that he is pretending to be more conservative than he is. His past actions (including the 2010 election) show him to be to the left of the RINO's we abhor, and I don't support that kind of thinking.

All I know is he’s making mincemeat out of Bammy Boy and that’s what counts. He is demolishing Bammy Boy’s stature, legend and mystique every day. Whatever positive images of Bammy Boy..... Trump is changing them into negative images. Trump is remaking Obama’s image into that of a loser and Americans shy away from losers. They don’t vote for them

Obama cannot respond directly because he is President. So he is in a jam. Axelrod and other handlers are sweating. Obama, being the biracial wunderkind who jammed everyone by playing the race card, seems unable to with Trump. He is doomed. If Trump keeps it up even the blacks won’t be voting for Obama.

Definitely! How pleasant it is to see someone respect the healthy skepticism with which many good Americans view Obama’s background. Trump is doing what we humble little people wish we could do. We never understood why the talking heads, including rush and levin, couldn’t query aloud about his eligibility, and the questions around his past.

Nice finds, guys ..... thanks for the quotes and links on Soros/Trump.

Not only is Trump a RiNO, not only is he a Judas horse, he's Beelzebub Soros's kind of Judas horse.

Still, he's undermining Obama's hold on office with the eligibility issue, so I'll take all of that help I can get, imho.

Curiosity bump -- is there any website anywhere that gives ACU ratings (or ADA ratings) on talk-show hosts and lists their issues and where they're at?

BOR, Coulter, Rush, Levin, Medved, Bohannon, Boortz, Laura Ingraham, Dennis Prager, Dennis Miller -- where are they all on each issue, how do they rank them, and so on?

Be an interesting read.

[Pebcak] when did Trump have the epiphany on the birth certificate?

Trump is playing poker with Obama and the BC and general transparency card has the greatest value at the beginning of the 2012 election cycle (which happens to be right now).

Trump's an old Hillary supporter, may still be supporting her (as Clintonistas keep edging toward the exits of the Obama Administration).

The BC thing was originally a Clinton Delight special, with Hillary's Philly campaign manager, Philip Berg, moving the issue in federal court for her during the primaries. They were about a year too slow, though.

I think many people feel the same and could be the reason his poll numbers are up. Trump is helping break through the progressive media machine. Without this Obama would have a harder time pushing his kool aid.

Either that, or Trump opens the door for Hillary. Or Trump runs third party, and opens the door for Obama. The fact that Trump has a record of agreeing with both Obama and Hillary on major policy issues should slow your vehicle at least a little.

Okay, so Trump has no policy differences with Hillary or Obama that would seem to justify his running against Obama and raising some very sore issues for Obama that go directly to Obama's cred.

So, why?

Possibility one, Trump is really working for Hillary (see above).

Possibility two, Trump is squeezing Obama to get something from Obama that Trump wants very much and is unlikely to get without a Big Political Backroom Deal with Obozo.

Trump's involved heavily in New York real estate and gambling.

What could Obama do for Trump in a) New York RE or b) gaming, that would benefit Trump in ways Trump can't benefit himself?

How about, the price of Trump's going away, is that Obama drops his support of the Ground Zero Rabat/Mosque?

How about, this is about some gaming development projects Trump has got, and about Obama's using eminent domain for Trump's benefit under color of Kelo? Maybe, ummm, gaming in the National Park resorts? Something like that? Management of plum Park resorts, like Yosemite and Grand Canyon?

When Trump shakes the Tony Rezko tree and the eligibility tree simultaneously, he's shaking pretty hard. What does Trump want to fall out of the tree?

Anyone?

At least Ross Pertot was a likable old codger. Trump always has given me the creeps

Perot gave us Clinton but yes, he was a "likable old coot" personally.

You're right about chump Trump too, he just reeks of creepiness - Sorta like Romney.

Well it seems obvious to me that there are freepers who are so heavily invested in birtherism that conservatism has become secondary.

I’ve been around here since 2000...banned for my dissidence many times (but as someone who knows the securities biz...you shouldn’t be running money, you are a dud).

So, you're admitting that you're a repeat re-tread? So much for the sole remaining shard of your credibility.

On Tuesday, April 12, I wrote and posted an article here on FreeRepublic titled "The Donald... A Potential Soros Stalking Horse?"

http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-chat/2703336/posts

While many found it prescient, most excoriated me for my "grasping at straws," etc.

Well, well well. Now we see who was on the money, and who was asleep at the switch, don't we? That "The Hairdo's" campaign manager is a Soros insider pretty much answers both the question I posed in my article, and those who were ill-advised enough to challenge me in public, their misplaced words forever indelled in the (history-making) pages of FreeRpublic.

I won't say "I told you so."

Yep. But your not being a retread hasn't boosted your cred any, has it?

BTW, what is the sin of speaking the truth and getting banned for it? Is conformity that important to you?

so many chest-beaters here on FR are now suddenly willing to throw Conservative principles to the wind and overlook Trump's past contributions, statements, and behavior with the excuse that it's just business.

Romney is attacked endlessly on these threads and rightfully so, for his past support of liberals and liberal causes, yet Trump gets a pass (from some) because he now attacks Obama.

Trump is a lot more recent "convert" to conservatism than the liberal Romney. Pro abort, pro homo, donating to liberal candidates such as Hillary and John Kerry. I believe that people can and do change political philosophies but let Trump hold to his new found conservatism for at least a decade or two and then listen to him.

There's not a dimes worth of difference between Trump and Romney. Trump is Romney, without the mormonism thing hanging around his neck.
