This 40% increase estimate is from the DOE.....meaning it will probably be higher than that!

Goldman plays taps for crude rally
The brokerage firm said oil prices could drop as much as $20 a barrel this spring, in a replay of the flight from risk that swept markets last May as Greek finances imploded. It recommended that clients sell crude and some other commodities and wait for lower prices to buy in again.

Gas was about $1.80 a gallon when The Usurper-In-Cheif was sworn in January 2009.
It is now more than double that amount and he has been in office less than 27 months.
At the current rate of increase, gasoline will be almost $6.00 a gallon by the time we boot his sorry ass donkey out of our White House.

There’s plenty of blame to go around. I for one won’t be defending any oil companies for tax breaks anymore, that is for sure.

Obama will not be re-elected, gas prices will be the main reason.

Thankfully I don’t travel much, My hungry Ford Explorer V8 all wheel drive requires a lot of “food”.
I just saved enough money to have his transmission rebuilt (since it’s been above 30 here on Long Island, it hasn’t hesitated).
I plan on keeping him for as long as possible. He ROCKS on ice and snow!!!

When gas prices in 2008 were on their way to $4 per gallon, liberals in Congress were haranguing Bush to do something and even calling for nationalization of oil companies. Now there is a strange silence. Perhaps Democrats realize that Dear Leader and his policies are to blame and don't want to broach the subject.

Retail prices for a gallon of regular-grade gasoline will average $3.86 nationally from April through September, up from $2.76 for the comparable period last year, said the Energy Information Administration, the statistics arm of the Energy Department. HA!
It wasn't anywhere near $2.76 in San DIego, it was more like $3.10:
$3.10 + 40% = $4.39.
Today it's $4.18 average vs. national average of $3.78.
The national average will be 8 cents higher than current?
I think they're lowballing.

I suppose trashing the dollar to the point of it being worth the same as a pine cone has nothing to do with it.
