For those willing to read it, it makes the case that the Framers were very specific in the language they put into the US Constitution, and that they had a very good reason for using the odd phrase, "Natural Born Citizen", which they used nowhere else, except Article II, Section I, Clause 5.
Yeah, that’s all good. I appreciate the writer’s comments, especially,
“Ramsay writes with the knowledge and insights one acquires only by being personally involved in the events of the Founding period.”
Our struggles today help to better understand the context of the Founding period. It’s only a glimpse, but something I feel a bit more connected than I had during years of our Nation’s prosperity.
