2010 was a dress rehearsal for the main event in 2012..
This is what I believe. I am not throwing in the towel on the American electorate until I see how the 2012 elections turn out.
Had all 100 Senators and President Obama been on the ballot last Fall, the Democrat Party would have been swept from power from top to bottom, I believe.
The right-leaning voters in most places around the country were very serious and are waiting for 2012 to finish the job, at least in terms of getting some common-sense adults in power who are fiscally conservative and who reject the hard left swerve we've seen over the past two years.
That said, I'm considerably more cynical about how difficult it will be to achieve broad agreement by the public when it comes to specific budget/deficit/debt/health/tax reforms or "fixes" that will be debated by the new Congress in 2013. There will be wailing and gnashing of teeth! We will need leaders similar to Wisconsin's Walker who will stand firm in the face of protests from the recipient class and the onslaught of negative PR propaganda from the MSM.
Do we believe in miracles?
[ Do we believe in miracles? ]
The Unions in Wisconsin stepped in it.. big time..
The smell is caressing the voters noses...
The TpCaucus is growing stronger because of it..
snif... snif... can you smell that?..
