Supreme Court justice David Prosser has picked up more than 7,381 votes in Waukesha County, a conservative county outside of Milwaukee, as part of the statewide canvass following the election for Supreme Court on Tuesday. The total gives Prosser a comfortable lead as the canvass continues Friday.
The error came when Waukesha County clerk Kathy Nickolaus failed to save some 14,000 votes that came from wards in Brookfield before passing the vote total along to the Associated Press. County officials discovered the mistake Wednesday and shared the information with state election officials on Thursday. Prosser won Waukesha County with more than 70 percent of the vote there.
Wisconsin sources say that the paper trail on the votes will be obvious and difficult for anyone to dispute. Either votes from Brookfield were counted in the initial tally or they werent. Still, the discovery of the extra votes is sure to stoke the embers of the heated battles that have taken place across the state over the past two months, particularly because Nickolaus, the woman at the center of the controversy, is a Republican activist. A posting on the website of the Republican Women of Waukesha County indicates that Kathy Nickolaus recently served as president of that group.
But several sources have pointed to questions about her competence in the past. In August, the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reported that her superiors ordered an audit of the county clerk's election equipment and system beginning with the September primary despite several memos she sent to the committee over the weekend defending her practices and resisting the move.
No, not all for Prosser - it was around 11K votes, 7000 some odd for Prosser, 3K for the dippy liberal.
Read the article and use your elementary school arithmetic. 7381 votes for Prosser are NET. There were 14k discovered in a region that went 72% for Prosser. That means that aboutb 10,800 went for Prosser and 3,200 went to Kleptocrat. Subtract the 3200 from the 10800 and you get the net for Prosser.
He also had already gained enough in two instances of missed votes from Winnebago Co. that had put him about 110 AHEAD of Klepto before the Waukesha/Brookfield info came out, plus Klepto somehow lost 32 votes in the Milwaukee Co. canvas.
So, as it stands right now, Prosser is about 7500 in the lead. After the canvassing which is going on now, if Prosser is still in the lead by 7500, Klepto will have to call her union president son to cut her a check to pay for the recount because 7500 puts the race beyond automatic state-provided recount range.
The bad news is that Madison has ballots stored in a warehouse and who knows who’s guarding it? Are there any pubs with guts and brains on the scene? I don’t know but I wish I did.
Amen.
Nickolaus: We do have on the board of canvass..a Democrat...Ramona Kitzinger.
Kitzinger, Dem canvass witness: We went over everything & made sure the numbers jibed up & they did...Were satisfied that its correct.
Kitzinger, Dem witness: Im the vice chair of Waukesha Democrats. I wouldnt stand here... & tell you something thats not true.
All the MSM-inspired talk about "Walker losing the battle of Wisconsin"
Well the GOOD PEOPLE of Wisconsin just told him: "Go, Scott, go!"
My God Man. That is one ugly woman.
They already checked that. It doesn’t square. The votes from Brookfield were NOT counted election night. They know this now because the total votes shown as cast election night is considerably less than what the final canvas total is. They didn’t know they had those votes outstanding because of the way they were processed on this lady’s old computer. What appeared to be the case, though, was that Waukesha Co. had a mediocre turnout, which of course makes sense.
LOL! I love it.
Klopditz is going the way Sir Rah went. Buh Bye!
ROFLMAO!!!!!
Kleptocrat’s statement said she ran to “restore confidence in the court”......by PROMISING to vote with the unions??????
GMAFB!!!!!!
Probably mooch-elle can’t be away long from the organic White House garden in which she spends long hours laboring.
They will pay any price. Look how much money rolled into Klepto’s campaign the last couple weeks - millions.
The unions will pay any price to not have this precedent of loss set. If they win, they’ll make up the cost of the recount in rat largesse. It’s mere pennies by comparison - just the cost of doing bidness. Heck, it’s basically already paid for in advance. Look how much the “Stimuloss” and obathturd’s deathcare put in their pockets - billions. Billions to partially recycle back to the rats in ‘12.
So what are the percentages now? Is it like 53 to 47?
She has the classic look of the absolute lefty fanatic.
I don't think it was an error. I just wasn't reported to the AP.
Island in the Carribean sounds good.
NO recount now !!!!!! beyond the requirement by law
