Donald Trump's suddenly surging presidential chances got another boost Tuesday with the release of a poll that measured the business magnate as the second-most-popular choice for Republican primary voters in the crucial early voting state of New Hampshire.

Trump picked up the support of 21 percent of state primary voters, behind only 27 percent for Mitt Romney, the former governor of neighboring Massachusetts, according to the survey from Democratic-leaning firm Public Policy Polling (PPP).

"He has more support than even we thought," PPP assistant director Dustin Ingalls said in an interview.

This should come with a double barf alert. One for Mitt and one for The Hair.

this represents Mitt’s weakness more than Trump’s strength.

PPP is a democrat polling organization out of NC. Nothing they do is reliable.

“...behind only 27 percent for Mitt Romney”

Does anyone know of any remedies for an upset stomach?

Hit me just as I read that...

1. Media pumps up Donald. 2. Makes him nominee. 3. Destroys him and Obama wins. New Hampshire is where media propped up McCain.

Trump, he’s okay with abortion, he’s okay with homosexuality, he’s pro immigration...

is this really the choice to come?

I have heard otherwise, but don’t know of any official information.

I stand ready to be informed.

The MSM just fell in love with The Donald.

Don’t look now, but they have just annointed him as the Spoiler. As soon as he loses the primary race, they’ll try to get him to go 3rd party.

Then again, maybe that won’t happen. In the meantime he IS being quite useful in ruthlessly flogging those issues the other candidates are afraid to talk about.

Maybe Trump dug up some info on Barry that the media has been protecting:

I am watching this carefully, bray. I don't know much about Trump's ideology, and the thought has crossed my mind, the thought that Trump is merely bored.

I will not vote for Romney. Whatever happens after that, I will be vigilant.

I'm not going to be suckered by the Republican Party. I have officially ended my affiliation. Let the chips fall where they may.

He’s now pro life and against gay marriage.

People can change their mind.

This isn't necessarily a bad development. Trump and Romney could split the RINO vote and allow a conservative to win NH.

If Romney can't win NH, he'll be finished. It's hard to take Trump all that serious as a contender.

True, the smart money is that Trump will not run for real as he would never do the financial disclosure.

True, and they can change it back again.

Problem is, his conversion to conservatism, such as it is, is a recent phenomena, much like Myth Romney's.

Do you trust Myth?

If not, what makes you think that the Trumpster isn't doing the same thing, finding a set of positions he thinks is the most palatable to the most voters?

I saw Trump interview by O’Reilly. There Trump said he is pro-life. He is pro-strong military. He is mor traditional marriage between a man and a woman.

If I remember right, he is selective on what to do with illegals. IOW he wants to deport anyone with no proven record of doing a useful and skilled job. Personally I am for deporting every illegal person including anchor babies.
