I think that many times absentee ballots are not counted unless the election results are close. If they need to be counted their are often specific requirements on the process.

According to multiple reports upthread, absentee ballots are included in the current count.

Yeah in this thread someone posted a local link and info that all absentee ballots in a certain county that had RUMORS of 8000 to be counted WERE counted last night.
