This election is important nationally too. If Kloppenburg is elected the Wisconsin mandate by the electorate in 2010 in this state will be negated by the WI Supreme Court and the unions will have won.
I live in a hardcore conservative area and discovered today that my Prosser yardsign was mutilated and thrown into one of my plantings.
Pray for Wisconsin and for Prosser's election!
I was interested in the Walker/union battle until tonight. Now, the people of WI have chosen their future.
See you all later, and best of luck to you.
I just heard on news WISN 1130 top of hour news, that Waukesha is NOT completely in. Neither is Fond du Lac or Washington. Witch is ahead 51 to 49%
I’m a conservative from La Crosse, and I feel just like you do..sick to my stomach. We do have a big fight ahead...and we also have to go through Kapanke’s recall.
No chance of that now. The hag is simply ahead by way too many votes a this point.
Looks to me like Klopp wins wtih 51-52% of the vote.
Well, we have been thinking of moving and this certainly encourages the idea.
200,000 votes to go, and Prosser would need to take those remaining votes 58/42.
Arrggg..
I think I am going to have to sit down to a nice big plate of crow. (Blame AP’s bogus reporting.)
Seems like WI has embraced communism.
way to go Badgers. It makes me sick to my stomach.
Same here. The unions may win this battle, but they've lost me and millions like me. I'll NEVER support ANY union, ever, and I will, as much as possible, avoid buying anything union-made. Heck, I'd rather give my money to the Chinese than to union thugs.
I would bankrupt the state. He can do it.
RESULTS as of Tuesday, Apr 05, 2011 at 11:03 pm CDT
Election Home
Supreme Court REPORTING 85%
Joanne Kloppenburg 648,723
51%
David Prosser (inc) 624,972
49%
Are we going to be up till 4am waiting for the Indian reservations precincts to come in? This is eerily reminiscent of the Thune race in ‘02.
I was thinking of that same feeling, myself. Mine was washed away last November, and now instead of feeling sick, I feel an intense desire to crush liberals. :)
I call it the Red Dawn effect - those kids are sad at first, and they cry when Dad is penned up in the re-education camp, but the first time they shoot up a Commie convoy, the sad feeling goes away. :)
A bunch more of Dane just came in 207/248, but now the Communist has a 35K lead.
The rest of Waukesha has to offset that and hold off the other Dane precincts left to report.
WISN is probably getting their info from the AP chart, and they haven't figured out it's wrong.
Where were the voters from last fall? If Kloppy wins, and it seems like that will happen, this state is screwed.
I’m getting depressed. :(
I have a funny feeling that it should read 191 of 198 precincts reporting, not 119/198. There hasn’t been a change in the numbers in 2 hours.
