This election is important nationally too. If Kloppenburg is elected the Wisconsin mandate by the electorate in 2010 in this state will be negated by the WI Supreme Court and the unions will have won.
I live in a hardcore conservative area and discovered today that my Prosser yardsign was mutilated and thrown into one of my plantings.
Pray for Wisconsin and for Prosser's election!
They only had 187,000 votes cast in the 2010 Gov race. No way they would have cast a projected 249,000 today.
I just hope their numbers aren't already final.
Its back and forth, he leads, she’s leads, then he leads again..this reminds me of an NBA playoff game where I am pacing back and forth unable to sit down praying for the victory..I never thought I’d care about another state’s supreme court election either, heck til a few days ago I had no clue who Prosser is, but since his winning is so important I am refreshing this page every few seconds
I remember it well, because he used to really make me angry, with his moral relativity.
agree! CRAZY
CBS still hasn't called Ohio for Bush.
Something seems to be odd with the numbers from Washington and Waukesha. The current precincts reporting would suggest 80% of the TOTAL POPULATION of Waukesha and 73% of the Total population of Washington.
There might not be that many votes in those two counties outstanding.
There was a US Rep election for Peter Barca years ago that was called for him around midnight; then at 2:00 a.m. or later, it was called for Mark Neuman when rural counties finally reported.
I am not surprised this is a nail biter and may not be called till waay past my bed time. Hoping rural counties will come in for Prosser.
RESULTS as of Tuesday, Apr 05, 2011 at 10:30 pm CDT
Election Home
Supreme Court REPORTING 69%
Joanne Kloppenburg 532,568
50%
David Prosser (inc) 531,963
50%
It is not the rural counties as they do not have many votes, look for washington, waukesha, and ozaukee counties which have not reported a lot of votes yet/. All three are suburbs of milwaukee and the three most heavily republican counties in the state.
Does anyone think this thread will set a new FR post record?
Prosser now down by 605 votes. What a see saw.
Please haul over to WI and get the dems out of the car trunks getting their votes out. H U R R Y

no
He behind only 56-44 in Milikuie right now.
We know the union thugs are cheating. We just have to pray that they miscalculated how many "extra" votes they were going to need. When you're dealing with union types, anything is possible. Math isn't their strong suit. They only understand that you always take the biggest or heaviest pile of money.
Maybe, I saw a thread over 2,000 once.
The answer will be a big NO. Remember Milwaukee is home of the smokes for votes program and the RNC van tire replacement program. Nothing to see here folks...just your usual voter fraud. Also remember Dane county can turn out large vote totals if needed
I actually think he wins by taking enough in the Republican suburban counties. The one problem is that the precincts that have reported in those counties so far are large ones, so while only 27% of Waukesha has reported, I'd guess that it's about 50% of the votes in Waukesha (Prosser is taking over 70% in that county and has a 40,000 vote lead there).
If you put a gun to my head, I'd pick Prosser to win, but I'm nowhere near comfortable making a projection. Once Dane and Milwaukee are all in or close to all in, then I'll feel comfortable making some comments. Of course they'll likely hold back a few tens of thousands of votes there just in case.
Dems always keep a few thousand fake votes in their cars when they know it will come in handy
