So if there are only 1,000 rebel fighters in Libya and there are 1,000 members of Al-Qaeda fighting with the rebels in Libya, then wouldnt that mean that the rebels are 100% jihadists? Nah... they're all 'Humanitarians'.

But remember, the de facto president is not a Muslim, and anyone who says he is is obviously a racist, fear-mongering, xenophobe and probably tortures kittens.

Any arms we send them are going to re-sold to al-Queda, or taken outright,

Population of Libya is 6,461,454 (July 2010) Source.
So, let's pretend the population is split 50:50 male and female. Let's pretend that 50% of the males are capable of fighting for their freedom. Let's pretend that there are 51% of the men, who are old enough to fight, want to fight for freedom.
6.4 Million x 0.50 x 0.50 x 0.51 = 816,000 potential fighting men for the Rebels.
So, we have a Rebel army (1,000 "fighters") that represents approximately 0.000122% of the population that cares enough about freedom to do something, when they have the opportunity.
Why are we wasting our time with these cowards?

Not to worry
There are at least 200 more Al-Qaeda fighters on their way to Libya from Afghanistan. Especially now that they know Obama will be arming them to the teeth very soon.

So if we brokered a cease fire and brought Khaka daffy, the rebels, Uhbummer lenin khomeini, and Bin laden together we would have 100 % enemies in one place?
