Actually, I believe they are required by their religion to give several warnings. After that, and assuming the infidel does not change his ways, they can act with a clear conscience in slaughtering innocent women and children. What a great religion.

I don’t recall any warnings prior to 9/11 and that killed more people than any other suicide bombing attack in the world. I concur with a previous poster who stated that if they had such a capability, they would simply exercise it: why risk detection/failure by alerting U.S. authorities?

Absent some very discrete demands of a sizable nature (i.e., “get out of Iraq” as opposed to “release those 3 Al Quaeda prisoners from Gitmo”), it would be pointless to give your enemy even the slightest strategic advantage with free advertising.

Conversely, if they DIDN’T have such a capability, they might hope to precipitate a panic by intimating they had it etc.
