Too bad “the Donald’s” mother, Mary Anne MacLeod was born in Stornoway, Scotland.

He would have made a great “natural born American.”

Doesn’t matter where she was born, - - but whether or not she became an American citizen.

You seem to have done your research. Was she naturalized before Trump was born?

Or... did you stop researching as soon as you found some dirt to smear on a conservative...?

When did you finally admit that both parents have to be citizens for the child to be Natural Born?

Mr. Trump’s mother was naturalized before his birth. It is false to imply that Mr. Trump is not a natural born citizen. Please stop posting lies to FreeRepblic.com.

So how many times have you the village idiot have been told that Trump's mother was an American citizen at the time of his birth? Have you been told about 10 times or more?

She became a US citizen a decade before he was born.

Luckily she became a naturalized citizen (US Citizen) before Donald was born. This makes Donald a natural born citizen.

My my my. What a statement from the resident Obozo Troll, my little friend "jamese777". First time I ever remember you admitting that it requires 2 parents with United States (not just American) citizenship to father a "natural born" United States Citizen.

Now tell me what qualifies Barrack H. Obama, Jr. to be a "natural born" United States Citizen as the Constitution requires? (hint: it is not possible, if Barrack H. Obama, Sr. is his father)

If Donald Trump’s mother became a naturalized U.S. citizen before his birth, and his father was also a U.S. citizen when Donald was born, Donald meets the requirement to be POTUS.

Which, of course, you already knew. And now any readers innocently ignorant of the truth - who might have been influenced by your slyly deceptive comment - now also know that Trump is eligible.

Didn’t Trump’s mother get her USA citizenship some years before Donald was born? The parent’s birth place is wiped from consideration of natural born if they, both, are given citizenship befor the child’s birth. I believe the Founding Fathers were intentional as to such cases because they wantedsworn allegience to tyhe USA. It is misleading to just mention place of birth of the parents. My brother and I were in this predicament. I will note that the predicament did not dampen our loyalty and spirit to serve in WWII. My brother died in WWII with those feelings.

According to your standards, how then does that equate with Barak Obama Sr. who was a dual citizen of Kenya and Britain?
