Donald Trump’s calls this week for President Barack Obama to release his birth certificate prompted negative reactions from pundits who would like to turn the tables on Trump and say, “You’re fired.”
However, Trump’s comments, made most recently in an exclusive interview with Newsmax.TV, also garnered support from those who wonder why Obama has not supplied documentation of where he was born.
Trump rekindled the longtime controversy Wednesday on ABC’s “The View” when he said Obama was “probably” born in the United States, but he wants the president to prove it with a birth certificate.
As for the critics, Brian Lowry of Variety got personal. “More than anything, Trump looks like a buffoon — an egomaniac hopelessly addicted to the spotlight, floating the prospect of a presidential run to a gullible media to boost interest in himself and ‘Celebrity Apprentice,’" Lowry wrote on the magazine’s website.
“Moreover, he seems in complete denial about the fact that his NBC show crested some time ago. Seriously, 8 million viewers or so is ‘through the roof?’ Only if the ceiling is about three inches above your head.”
David Weigel of Slate magazine took up Trump’s challenge to show him a photo of Obama as a child. “I've seen 14-year-old,” Trump said. “I've seen 13-year-old. I haven't seen early pictures." Weigel’s column includes a photo of Obama as a child that appeared on the cover of Time magazine in 2008.

Hawaii Gov. Neil Abercrombie, a friend of Obama's parents in Hawaii who said he remembers when the future president was born, first vowed to produce an original copy of the president's birth certificate this year.
But he abandoned those efforts because it is against state law to release private documents, CNN quoted his spokeswoman as saying.

Your statement was not what the decision said. It did not specifically deal with the issue of "Natural Born" citizen. Only citizen.
IF BHO's father is truely Barrack H. Obama, Sr. then Obozo is the son of an English Diplomat. And consequently is not a "natural born" U.S. Citizen. The only way he is a "natural born" U.S. Citizen is if someone other than Barrack H. Obama, Sr. is his father and that person was a U.S. Citizen at the time of his birth.
I have both my “original” and the kind that was posted previously that you can order at any time from the state of Ohio. There is more information on the “real” BC than the other one. Such as the ages of my parents, etc...
However, this kills my one suspicion, and that is that it shows Obama as “caucasian” and that’s what he’s hiding, since, the one you show only shows parents races and not the child.
I have to ask though - whose BC is that and why are you posting it on a public forum??
Do you have links to those 'reputable sources' you cite? I've seen the analysis done on the various obama COLB docs and they say it is/they are a forgery.
Could someone with a Hawaiian COLB have been born elsewhere? If so, what does a COLB prove?
As to Hawaii going after their alleged native born President, how do you think that would work out for them? Ask Arizona about the response they've gotten from the Prez's office for trying to enforce their border.

In response to your second paragraph, not until 2 decades after obama’s birth and it still wouldn’t say that they were born in Hawaii.
Are you saying that the Republican governor of the state, the Bush Justice department, and the other primary and general election candidates were scared of a half-term senator? There is a such thing as dirty politics, but I seriously doubt that even Obama can intimidate that many people.
And we call those blind people birthers.
This is a very sticky point. Legally, if a married woman has a child, the law assumes that her husband is the father. There is no evidence that what'sisname's parents were ever married, but in the divorce, Barack*, Sr. accepted paternity, so he's what we have to work with.
