Donald Trump’s calls this week for President Barack Obama to release his birth certificate prompted negative reactions from pundits who would like to turn the tables on Trump and say, “You’re fired.”
However, Trump’s comments, made most recently in an exclusive interview with Newsmax.TV, also garnered support from those who wonder why Obama has not supplied documentation of where he was born.
Trump rekindled the longtime controversy Wednesday on ABC’s “The View” when he said Obama was “probably” born in the United States, but he wants the president to prove it with a birth certificate.
As for the critics, Brian Lowry of Variety got personal. “More than anything, Trump looks like a buffoon — an egomaniac hopelessly addicted to the spotlight, floating the prospect of a presidential run to a gullible media to boost interest in himself and ‘Celebrity Apprentice,’" Lowry wrote on the magazine’s website.
“Moreover, he seems in complete denial about the fact that his NBC show crested some time ago. Seriously, 8 million viewers or so is ‘through the roof?’ Only if the ceiling is about three inches above your head.”
David Weigel of Slate magazine took up Trump’s challenge to show him a photo of Obama as a child. “I've seen 14-year-old,” Trump said. “I've seen 13-year-old. I haven't seen early pictures." Weigel’s column includes a photo of Obama as a child that appeared on the cover of Time magazine in 2008.

Hawaii Gov. Neil Abercrombie, a friend of Obama's parents in Hawaii who said he remembers when the future president was born, first vowed to produce an original copy of the president's birth certificate this year.
But he abandoned those efforts because it is against state law to release private documents, CNN quoted his spokeswoman as saying.

They need explicit permission from him to release anything; the letter would have to say something like, "I give you permission to release my birth record to anyone who asks." The hospital could not ask him for permission to release for a nonmedical reason. And who the heck knows why he wouldn't give it - hiding something, or enjoying the side show of those who question being made to look like conspiracy theorists.
It is because as long as people are talking about the damned COLB, they aren[t talking about the specific Defination of Natural Born Citizen. That means someone born under the SOLE jurisdiction of the United States. Obama fails that test, so he wants people looking for his birth documents, when in reality, it doesn’t matter where he was born. He could never be a Natural Born Citizen regardless of where he was born. Not with Obama Sr. A British citrizen as a father.
Lol. The COLB is not dubious. It has been verified by reputable sources, if it weren’t, then the state of Hawaii could have pressed forgery and fraud charges against him. The fact that you think that a public figure could get away with naked fraud like that without major repercussions makes you foolish.
The fact that you believe that a woman who had no discernible travel outside of the country during that time gave birth in Kenya makes you ridiculous.
The fact that you believe that untold numbers of family, friends, and public officials have lied for the man for 50 years, on the off chance that he may one day run for president, when Ms. Dunham could have just simply given birth in Hawaii, makes you absurd.
That is, if you really believe this garbage.
I think it’s something else on the BC that Obama is hiding. Such as - race (it says “white?”), or religion (although this is typically not on BC’s), or perhaps that BHO Sr is not his real father.
It is very possible that his Inodnesian adoption is the main hitch in regards to the birth certificate issue.
It is also possibly that he is not even his real legal name today.
From what I have studied it seems that when he returned to the United States he just decided on his own to start using the name Barack Obama when legally his name was still Barry Soetoro.
It is also already known that he is not using a real social security number as well.
If his past records get released (long-form birth certificate, school records, passport status, etc...) then this would be found out and he would not be eligible to be President at all considering also his dual citizenship at birth.
This is not whacko conspiritory issue but a very real and very important issue. It is a Constitutional issue of great importance.
Hopefully the issue of his legal name and his citizenship status will be brought up soon. It is even more important then his birth certificate issue.
Obama is a total fraud. He is not even using his real name, imo. That is what he is tryng so hard to conceal.
It is nuts to believe that, I generally agree with your statement.
However, since Trump is bringing this up, and he’s not the kind of guy who asks questions he doesn’t know the answer to, perhaps his long form birth certificate contains SOMETHING that he is hiding. Not natural born status, perhaps something else.

CNN left out one tiny detail as usual. How about the Records Dept told Abercrummy that they don’t have a BC for Barry but there is a notation written down in the archives somewhere.
Who cares what the guy from Variety says anyway? Did you see Whorealdo last night when he was interveiwing The Donald on the phone? Afterward not a peep. Normally he would have gone into full attack on anybody else. I think Whorealdo was remembering the Ghetto beatdown Rosie O’Donnell got a couple of years back. LOL!
Where Obama was born is irrelevant.
And I HAVE all of my Hawaiian Documents. Yes, long forms can be obtained from HDOH. I got mine in September of 2010 upon request.
The man, by his own admission, was born under the jurisdiction of two Nations. That means he could never be Natural born with EITHER one.

Not sure what point you are trying to make. The man is not a Natural born citizen. It has been stated ad-nausea and you are just trying to push a point that is pointless.
He was born a dual citizen owing allegiance to another country. He therefore can never be a natural born citizen and is a usurper!

Nothing concerning any other country’s citizenship policies.
Our citizenship laws are not subject to the citizenship laws of another country. The man was born in Hawaii to an American mother, therefor he meets all requirements of being natural-born
Chester Arthur DID NOT qualify.
Our laws REQUIRE that a person be born under the SOLE jurisdiction of the United States of America in order to be a Natural Born American Citizen.
Obama does not qualify, neither did Arthur.
