She was a decent person with whom I strongly disagreed. There aren't any of those in today's crop of Democrats.Gone forever, it seems, are the Hubert Humphries, "Scoop" Jacksons and Gerry Ferraros. More's the pity.

R.I.P Geraldine. What I remember most about her is having to affix stickers saying Mondale/Ferraro on every piece of mail sent from my office.
Guess what? I worked for a union. yeah, they were at it then also.

A throwback to a time when Democrats were merely wrong about everything, but not completely demonic. In recent years, it seemed like her eyes were being opened to something she never wished to see.
God bless her family. RIP, Geraldine.

May we also give a little memorial for Tony Snow. We lost him the same way and I used to talk to him on the many threads he posted here.
Now there was a great American we can all be proud of!

What a shame. Had a fascinating life. Also didn’t hurt that she ticked off the Obama lovers a while back. May she R.I.P.

Rest in peace, Ms. Ferarro. She was an honest liberal who fought hard for women’s rights, and was not a hypocrite when it came to the personal attacks on Sarah Palin by the Left.
I was always interested in her opinions on Fox because she believed in them - it wasn’t a cover for a hatred of the right. Many of us could learn to be less anti-liberal and more pro-conservative. The former is agenda-based, the latter principled. She was a principled liberal.

Geraldine Ferraro and Sarah Palin on Fox News - The only two female VP candidates - Nov 2010 - Election Night
Very nice and cordial interview/discussion
I didn’t like Ferraro’s politics but she was a decent person - condolences to her family and friends.

Sorry for your loss. Lost my mother to complications due to Alzhimers, it was awful. Five years on and I miss her everyday.

Gone forever, it seems, are the Hubert Humphries, "Scoop" Jacksons and Gerry Ferraros. More's the pity. Exactly. She harkens back to an era when (most) Democrats were our opponents but not the enemies of America.
We have no mere opponents now. Only enemies of liberty and decency.
