The moment I got to the door and surveyed the crowd inside I would have gone back to my car and waited for it to clear out if I was that hungry. I’ve taught my kids to do the same. Gas stations, mini marts, fast food, and even walking down the street. Be constantly aware of your surroundings and it’s potential to become a problem. Quoting from Denzel Washington in his role as Malcolm X:
"That's not being racist, that's being intelligent."
For all he got wrong, Malcolm ("Little") X got that one thing right.
