I'm not sure about that...some harpies love her for being a chick...odd considering they left here years back for Rudy and those two are way different ideologically
I support Palin pretty much..someone else could pop up and there is the issue of can she win...who knows really. I don't like some of what she says but her traditional cultural views when she leaves all that girl power out appeal to me. I have paid to see her at a private Tea Party event and that proof is here on this forum.
I also like Bachman...but neither because they are girls..I actually make an exception for them because in reality I think men make betters leaders and decision makers as a rule..without question. That may change today as women get stronger and men..white educated men anyhow..get weak as butter looking anyhow.
But...this thing some do here where they brook no dissent over Sarah and threaten expulsion is ugly and dirty and I don't like it.
I have witnessed this sort of herd and clique behavior here for over a decade now and was once even targeted by it over my opposition to amnesty and Travis McGee's expulsion before we were both reinstated a year or so later when the Harpies I mentioned before left in a huff to go anti-freep
I would advise this forum to allow an open discussion in the primary run up. It is a mistake in my opinion to make this a Do Not Be Ugly to Sarah Palin board. Sarah's supporters here like me or even more serious stalwarts can simply defend her just as she will have to do if she runs...and the incoming will be withering...the worst we've ever seen no question.
The fact I do support her is inconsequential. It's fine for the powers that be here make their choices known..hell I would too if I were one but I just don't see the point of purging anyone here who supports a GOP candidate at this time and I think this sort of thing appeals to the poorer side of human nature and is bad for the forum in the long run...like inbreeding. I can take you to any Southern based thread right now and show you folks who fire away with impunity cultural liberalism all day long but when JR ran the Homosexual Purge thread and attracted a few of them for the liberals we all knew they were all along they got caught in the light and he bagged em and good riddance.
But threatening folks and running over them hand calling mods for not being Palin enough is just another Harpy in a new hat to me.
You are either telling a lie, or you did not read the thread in question. In either case, that is not what happened. JR does not abide trolls here. The Abuse button was made for trolls, among other things. I reported the actions of a troll. I was in the right.
As for the rest of your rant, J. Robinson has already said multiple times that FR is "Palin Country," and has zotted several nasty anti-Palin trolls. If you don't like that, or don't the Homosexual purge, you can find another place to post, just like anybody else who doesn't like the way Jim runs things. This is his property, after all.

I want to hear the good and bad on all the potential polidiots. But right now, as we explore.......Palin and or Bachman.... I would be happy voting for. No they ain’t 100% perfect. You find 100% perfect anything and your dead and in heaven IMO.

However, I see Palin and Bachmann as set apart from them. They are successful in their own right, and didn’t need a man to lift them up to the places where they are now. IOW, they didn’t hitch their wagon to a rising star, and expect to rise with him.

I remembered something the other day that I’ve been meaning to tell you regarding the thread you posted a while back.
The harpies were very organized, I know you know that. But, what I forgot to tell you is that they actively recruited people for their cause. I know one person who was recruited, and turned it down.
Senior moments are bad...but sometimes, if one waits long enough, they can be very lucid. ;o)
