OK. So, her position is that so long as we don't turn over control, then Qadaffi will just leave? Is that her position?

Right. Neither do I. How do you square that with "Gaddafi must go". How does she suggest that happen?

I don’t know if her position has changed, but 2 weeks ago she was pushing for troops on the ground:
“Certainly a no fly zone,” Palin said. “I hate to say, jeez, more troops on the ground. You know send more of our brave young men and women over there in Libya. When yes, 41 years of Gadhafi. Hes got to go.”
