One does not step down from power in Islam. Whoever is in power kills anyone who is a threat to their regime. A former leader is just that. The only way for a leader of an Islamic country to go is in a box after a carbombing. It’s like an uninaugeration right of passage.

So, we're going to punch him in the nose and then leave. Frankly, a strategy like that is only going to really piss him off.

Obama’s trapped, and he knows it.
He was likely told by the screeching war harpies that all Qadaffi needed was “A little push”, and he would be gone.
Unfortunately, that was two weeks ago, before he rallied his forces to counter-attack.
Now, we are openly taking sides in a civil war, and engaging his forces on the ground. Unless Obama somehow thinks that tanks and compounds fly.
Obama’s ONLY way out now is to KILL QADAFFI. And he knows it.
