Wonder if she was met by Mike Todd or Richard Burton?
Both!
RIP fair lady, she sure had enough tragedy and pain in her life

She was unbelievably beautiful, a wonderful lady and graceful.
Except in Butterfield 8. Actually even, she was stunning.

Beautiful woman. Unmatched eye color except by an alien race IMO.
You know that many folks think they will be reunited with their spouses in heaven? Won’t it be a little crowded on Liz’s cloud?.
Just wonderin’

A darn good looking female—no Hedy Lamarr, of course—and a fine actress.

To: Young Werther
"The Last Movie Star" is very apropos. She was one of the last bigger than life stars. She truly was one of the most beautiful actress' Hollywood has ever known. While she was a tragic figure in later life, the Liz Taylor of the 50's and 60's had no equal in beauty or talent. Comparing her to actress' today is a waste of time. Her performances in 'Virgina Woolf', 'Butterfield 8' and 'Cat on a Hot Tin Roof', are all among the greatest on film. She never be forgotten.
Eternal rest, grant unto her, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon her; May she rest in peace. Amen.
