If you believe the Brazilian press, President Barack Obama and the first family made a very unusual request for their first-ever visit to this meat-loving country: they asked for a vegetarian menu.A web site covering Brazil's Congress said the president made the request. A major TV morning show said it came from First Lady Michelle Obama. Both outlets quoted a restaurateur asked to produce buffets for the Obamas, including one to be served Saturday afternoon at the Alvorada Palace in Brasilia.
