Upon Governor Palins arrival Israelis will be celebrating the festivities of Purim.
Purim is the day Jews celebrate the story of Esther. Its a very festive day. Kids dress up and food gifts are distributed to family and friends. People are very joyous and its common to see lots of singing and dancing in the streets. Its customary to drink lots of wine on Purim. It is also a day of giving a lot of money to charity.
Everywhere in the world, including most of Israel, Purim began at sundown on Saturday night and ends after sundown on Sunday night.
In Jerusalem however, Purim takes place one day later and begins at sundown Sunday and ends after sundown Monday.
Governor Palin will join Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu for dinner in Jerusalem on Monday evening; The Purim dinner!

I believe that's also adding to the sudden brightness in here.
It is a lesson for all of us to not let passion become hatred of our own. Pissant literally let the best and the perfect become the enemy of the good and it took him from us who were his friends and wished he could have found a way back to sanity.
For such a time as this
Thanks !
His PDS went terminal.
Agreed. She was pitch perfect in India as well.
We just finished our noisy Megillah reading. I hope Sarah has a good time in the Holy Land. What a great holiday to experience there!
The guy was either a wack-job with a full-blown psychotic obsession, or he was some kind of political operative. No one else would engage in such a non-stop, 24/7 jihad against such a well-loved conservative.
Lets hope his ban is permanent
He's come back from the dead before, but I think this time he's gone for good.
She’s mine...
You can have Todd.
And the best part of this thread: that pissant isn’t.
Now that you mention it (sniff, sniff), it really does! LOL
You too? I knew it as well! Something was different all together about her, in fact when I saw her on that stage in Ohio, I said to myself that fate/destiny/Gods will’ whatever one may call it, was bound for her to something higher and farther than just running for the VP slot
I doubt he will come back. His IP address will be banned, hopefully. I can understand not agreeing with her politically, fine, everyone has a right to their opinion, but the utter hate spewing from his mouth was downright scary. Either he loathes her or he is obsessed with her. Seriously all he did was bash us Palin supporters calling us obsessed when HE was the one making threads about her every night, every darn thread he did was about her or members of her family..oh and then he would pretend he was a Bachmann supporter LOL I saw through that BS right away. I’d bet dollars for donuts that he voted for Obama in 2008 and will vote for him again in 2012
Same here. We used to get into some furious arguments, but we always settled down, and ended off amicably. After a while, though, I found that I just could not reason with him, so I took to going the comic route. Eventually, I couldn't even do that anymore. He just crushed every last ounce of forbearance I had in me.
it makes me proud of the management here that they both gave him incredible opportunity to just moderate a bit, and failing that, they dealt with it in a reasonable fashion.
Oh, the management were more than reasonable with pissant. I've never seen anyone be given so many chances to straighten up and fly right, than he was. He fully earned the zot. I suspect that even he realizes that.
I think that every American with an open heart and mind saw the same thing that we did, when Sarah stepped on that stage.
She was unlike any politician I’ve ever seen, and the communication underlying her words went straight to my patriotic receptors. They said, “Wake Up American! It’s time to take your country back! Who’s with me?”
What really clinched it, was the looks on all the faces of the liberal talking heads who were covering the convention. They were dumbfounded and speechless. In that moment, I knew that they had unilaterally declared a fatwa on Sarah, and it continues unbroken, to this very day.
How could we not support the one person who scares the left more than any other? As I’ve said many times here, the left has already told us who they DON’T want to face, which is precisely why we MUST put her in the White House in 2012.
He got the ZOT. He got unbelievably smutty about Sarah, and it was the last straw.
That's what made me realize that the guy was nuts, or was working for someone. No one, and I mean no one goes as overboard in their opposition and downright animosity toward a fellow Republican, like he did.
I don't know how many times I called him out, using nearly the same words you posted, but he simply ignored the charge.
oh and then he would pretend he was a Bachmann supporter LOL
What a ridiculous ruse that was. I think most intelligent Freepers saw right through that. First it was Duncan Hunter, then it was Jim DeMint, then it was Michele Bachmann, then it was Herman Cain....on and on. Nothing but misdirection and dispersal. All the while, it was really anyone but Palin!
If the guy isn't on Obama's payroll, he sure ought to be. He put in more work trying to divide Republicans on this site than anyone I've ever seen.
"Dane" came close a few years ago. His schtick was his love and support of illegals. He was forever calling FReepers "lazy" and "bigoted." Best we could make of him was that he either had illegals in his family and/or employed them.
Could this also be "such a time as this" for Sarah?
